4 foods to include in your diet for good weight loss

First, let's confirm our three assumptions:

  1. You like food. And ideally, it tastes good.
  2. You're busy, but you don't want to get unnecessarily fat from comfort food.
  3. You train hard and want to build muscle.

Is that you? Then this article is for you. Not you? Then you're in the wrong place.

1 - Passion fruit

Grazing is actually chopping vegetables into bite-sized pieces. Pureed cauliflower was a trendy alternative to rice during the low-carb craze.
However, you needed a good food processor and a taste for cleaning it, or a grater and plenty of band-aids.

Today, thankfully, it's all easy to grate on a variety of food processors, or even buy it straight frozen.

Passionfruit cauliflower, sweet potatoes, broccoli, carrots, you can find it all at the supermarket. Most can be steamed right in the bag. But if you don't enjoy stuffing plastic in the microwave (and you shouldn't), you can use a pan.

Steamed cauliflower is like white linen. Add it to grilled onions, peppers, beans, and whatever spices you have on hand. Add an egg while cooking, and you have "fried rice". You won't even know the difference.

You can eat cauliflower like this every day and it may never taste the same. Plus, it's very filling, which is excellent in a diet.

2 - Hot sauces

Athletes on a diet for some reason want to suffer more than they really have to.
Their every meal is dry chicken breast and broccoli. What's missing? Taste. Variety. Joy.

But that's unnecessary these days! The shops are full of sauces that often contain about 5 calories per serving. And they're very nice calories, which you'll burn off just shaking the bottle.

Hot sauces, in particular, are usually pretty low in calories, and can even help with calorie burning thanks to their heat effect!

Look at the label, and if you don't see sugar or any form of oil, you can use that.

3 - Frozen bananas

Head for the freezers at the store. Frozen bananas are sometimes called single-ingredient ice cream because they're pretty close in flavor and consistency. Sure, you can even cut them up and freeze them yourself.

Stir frozen bananas into your protein, add to your oatmeal. You'll create a delicious breakfast or snack for hot summer days.

But you can also just nibble on a few when you have a sweet tooth.

4 - Quality protein powder

Protein powders - the ones that aren't sold in supermarkets - have come a long way during their evolution.

When it comes to building muscle, quality proteins today can do things that even whole foods can't. And I don't just mean that they're easy to get into.

Plus, they can be used to make things other than just shakes these days. They can be added to food nowadays.
