Development of Thor's deadlift from 300kg to 501kg!
Almost everyone knows the famous phrase of Leoš Mareš from the early show of Europe 2 "Today we will look back to the past to...". Why do we say that? Because today we are also going to look back into the past. We'll focus on the evolution of the deadlifts of the strongest deadlifter on the planet, Hafþór Július Björnsson.
He recently posted a video on his youtube channel that features short clips of his deadlift performances. We go all the way back to 2009, when Thor was just 20 years old and was able to lift 300kg for the first time. The evolution of his performances is completed with a cut from May 2, 2020, when Thor set a newworld record for the deadlift with 501kg.
Sit back and enjoy a retrospective video of Björnsson's deadlift performance.
