Icelandic strongman Thor Björnsson can't stop a virus from training!

Unfortunately, from Friday 13.3.2020 all sports grounds in the Czech Republic are closed to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Almost all countries in Europe are also taking this approach, as fitness centres and gyms accumul ate large numbers of people and the risk of infection is so great.

As of yesterday, March 16, 2020, 180 positive findings of COVID-19 have been registered in Iceland. Considering that this Nordic country has a population of around 400,000, this is certainly not an insignificant number in percentage terms...

As you already know from us, not long ago Thor won gold at the Arnold Strongman Classic, but he won it by a whisker ahead of runner-up Mateusz Kieliszikowski.

Even though the whole world is fighting coronavirus, strongman Thor Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson is unstoppable! Almost every day, he posts snippets from his training sessions on his social media. His goal is simple! To win gold at The World's Strongest Man 2020 - but the question is whether these competitions will be held...

We've got just the training snippets we mentioned for you. You can watch a heavy deadlift, atlas repositioning, loglift sit-ups and bench press - all performed by Thor Björnsson
