Best Proteins of 2021 | Reviews

As the popularity of fitness as such is gradually increasing, so is the popularity of various dietary supplements. And protein is their imaginary king, which is of course exploited by manufacturers who are constantly churning out new products with atypical flavours, protein sources and different combinations of extra amino acids. But how to choose the right one in the cluttered mass of supplements? And how not to fall for the would-be revolutionary supplements that are just overpriced? Simple! In today's article, we're comparing proteins from different categories to give you an idea of what's really worth it. With our protein comparison, you can easily choose the most suitable product and not spend unnecessarily.

How did the review work?

We don't chooseproteins based on our subjective impressions, but on you, our readers and customers. So even though you may find other top proteins on other sites, our ranking is based on real customer reviews and that there are not a few of them! On this site bodyburistika.com you will find the most comprehensive reviews in the Czech Republic on all the products we have on offer, so it is very easy to find out whether a product is great, average or below average, which everyone will surely appreciate when making a purchase decision. So you can be sure that the individual proteins we are going to present you today are really verified by many customers before you and this is not a review made up by us, but just the opposite! These are reviews that customers have written themselves.

The best whey proteins

Whey protein is perhaps the most popular source of protein in fitness ever. And no wonder, besides containing a full spectrum of amino acids, they also have a whole host of substances potentially beneficial to our health. Worth mentioning is the high content of bioactive fractions, calcium and BCAAs, which make whey protein a great post-workout supplement. On the market you can meet most often with concentrate, isolate and hydrolysate. We will introduce you to them in detail in a separate article, in today's ranking we will focus on them only marginally:

Best whey concentrate

Whey concentrate is the best choice for most amateur athletes. The relatively gentle production process preserves all the important bioactive fractions, high protein content and only a relatively small amount of fat or carbohydrates. At the same time, they have a pleasant price and a great taste that is not disturbed during production. So which whey concentrate is best? Our customers recommend this trio in particular:

CFM Evolution

1st place - CFM Evolution (Prom-in)

Prom-in CFM Evolution is not just our choice. It's your choice first and foremost! The overwhelming majority of you, as our readers and customers, agree that it is a very tasty protein that is easy to digest, has minimal foaming and dissolves very well. And it is also available at a great price.

Benefits of the protein Disadvantages of protein

+ Excellent value for money
+ Contains added digestive enzymes for better digestibility
+ Contains no unnecessary additives

- Some customers complain of artificial aftertaste
- Cranberry and exotic flavours have worse ratings

Overall rating

Prom-in CFM Evolution is rightly described as the best protein on the market and is such an ageless classic. When you bet on tried and true flavors like vanilla, chocolate or pistachio, you'll definitely be satisfied and get a lot of music for little money. Alternative flavors (exotic, banana, or pina colada) may not be to everyone's taste. Still, we definitely recommend it.

new 100% whey2nd place - New 100% Whey Protein (Bodybuilding.com)

While including our own protein in this ranking may seem a bit self-centered, again, you chose it in the first place. You rate it very positively with both water and milk, praising its solubility, smell and taste, and we're incredibly happy for that. What's more, you can choose from 4 different flavours, each of which is perfected to perfection.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Great ingredients without any unnecessary additives
+ 4 flavours available (Vanilla Latte, Milk Cocoa, Salted Caramel and Marzipan) for everyone to choose from
+ Excellent value for money
- It's only available in 30g and 800g packs, so it's more practical to order several at once.

Overall rating

We wanted to create a protein that, as well as having a premium composition, also tasted great. And you guys are proving us right, which makes us incredibly happy. We only have 4 flavors so far, but whichever one you choose, you can count on enjoying the protein.

Battle Whey

3rd place - Battle Whey (Big Zone)

Big Zone Battle Whey looks to impress especially with its sophisticated design. However, reviews agree that actually all of the variants are great and you don't even taste any artificial traces from the taste of many of them like you do with other products. None of you complain about foaminess or poor solubility in preparation, and you often praise the ingredients. And we join you.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Battle Whey is available in up to 9 different and very tasty flavours
+ It has a great formula - it's enriched with added digestive enzymes and sweetened only with sucralose
- Compared to previous proteins, it is slightly more expensive
- The protein content per 100 grams of product is a few grams lower than previous proteins

Overall rating

We can't help but agree with you in our assessment. Whichever flavour you choose, you'll be satisfied. We were also pleased with Battle Whey's unconventional variants such as Milk & Honey or Milk Rice & Cinnamon. Whether you put the protein in milk or water, it dissolves well, doesn't foam and tastes great. So another product we'd put our hand up for.

How and when do we recommend taking whey concentrate?

Unless you're going to buy several different proteins and your budget only allows for one, it should be whey concentrate. When mixed in water it is a great source of protein after a workout, with milk it can be drunk at any time of the day. It contains a lot of beneficial substances, vitamins and minerals, its taste is in no way spoiled by the demanding processing and it is perfectly digestible for most athletes. What's more, it's the most affordable, which will certainly be appreciated by younger gym-goers.

The best whey isolate

Compared to a concentrate, an isolate will offer you less carbohydrates and fat and a higher proportion of protein. Since lactose is removed from most of them, they are often suitable for people with intolerances. Unfortunately, the more demanding process results in a higher price and often a poorer taste. You are interested in these three representatives in this category:

Iso Prime

1st place - IsoPrime CFM (Amix)

In this very high quality product, besides the good composition, you also appreciate the great taste, which, to be honest, is not so common with isolates. While Cookies cream or Apple, cinnamon don't seem very strong, Peanut, chocolate, caramel are strong to the point of being overpowering. And many of you write about Chocolate flavor that it's even one of the tastiest proteins on the market. Well, we have no choice but to agree. Whatever flavor you choose, you'll be satisfied.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Available in 14 different flavours
+ High quality isolate with minimal fat and carbohydrates
+ Contains a digestive enzyme complex for optimal digestibility
- In addition to non-toxic sucralose, acesulfame K has been used to sweeten the protein, which some athletes may have reservations about.

Overall rating

Like you, we have nothing to fault IsoPrime CFM. Leaving aside the acesulfame content, which most scientific studies agree is harmless to a small degree, this protein offers up to 87% protein content, a hefty serving of digestive enzymes, and at the same time a minimum of fat or carbohydrates. Plus, all 14 flavors taste absolutely delicious.

Iso Whey Zero2nd place - Iso Whey Zero (BiotechUSA)

With a fantastic rating of 4.63 out of 5 possible points, you've chosen Iso Whey Zero from the American company BiotechUSA for the second place in the isolate ranking. In addition to the top-notch composition, you also praise the flavours of this supplement, which are mostly not unnecessarily over-sweetened or artificial. At the same time, many of you highlight the good consistency and excellent digestibility.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ By far the cheapest protein of your chosen trio of isolates
+ You can choose from 5 pack sizes and we have the popular 1816 grams in up to 17 flavours
+ Very good ingredients
- Some flavours contain e.g. Cl Food Yellow, which can adversely affect children's activity and attention, possibly causing acne, hives or asthma in sensitive individuals

Overall rating

BiotechUSA is generally a company known for very high quality products at a good price. The ingredients are great (if you choose a flavor without problematic food yellow), the availability of flavors is wide and the price in relation to the quality is more than fair. We can only recommend it.

Protein juice

3rd place - Protein Juice (Big Zone)

If you feel like this is the second time a protein from Big Zone has been in your review, you'd be right. This time, however, it's Protein Juice, which is a whey isolate. In addition to being one of the tastiest proteins on the market in your opinion, offering some really unusual flavors, it also has a great formula. Unfortunately, many of you complain about the poorer solubility and the rather intense foaminess, but if you have a little time and patience, that's not a problem either.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Amazing taste of all four atypical flavors
+ Excellent composition and great spectrum of amino acids
+ Absolute minimum of sugars and fats
- Relatively difficult to prepare due to poorer solubility and greater foaminess

Overall rating

Protein Juice is the obvious choice for any of you who are sick of chocolate and vanilla proteins. Protein lives up to its name and really tastes like juice. The only difference is that it's packed full of high quality protein with a great spectrum of amino acids and minimal carbs or fat.

How and when do we recommend taking whey isolate?

Whey isolate is an ideal choice for most people who have problems digesting lactose. In fact, the vast majority of such products are either lactose-free or contain only minimal lactose. And for other athletes, isolate is particularly useful after training, when combined with water it is a quick source of easily digestible protein. Of course, you can also indulge in it at any time during the day, but it's a bit of a waste for that purpose, and a regular concentrate will serve the same purpose.

The best whey hydrolysate

Hydrolysate has long been considered the best you can get in the fitness industry. Its digestibility is sovereignly the fastest, because advanced processing technologies cleave long protein structures into the smallest possible parts for subsequent absorption. However, this process also has some disadvantages, namely the often unpleasant taste reverberations and the limitation of the natural anabolic action of native products. Nevertheless, they face a relatively high popularity among our customers and were chosen as the top three:

Hydro Optimal Whey1st place - Optimal Hydro Whey (Prom-In)

As with classic concentrates, the Prom-In brand appears in the hydro protein category and it's clear that you really like it. Although you think the ingredients are flawless, you have different opinions about the taste - for example, while most of you like chocolate, you describe banana as artificial and over-sweetened. The digestibility of the protein is generally very good and it does not foam when prepared.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Great ingredients, Prom-In uses only sucralose and steviol glycosides to sweeten
+ You can choose from 3 pack sizes and 3 different flavours.
+ Protein is easy to prepare, doesn't foam and is easily digestible
- Quite a few reviewers complain about the overly sweet or artificial taste

Overall rating

Prom-In is a stalwart on the Czech market that you will never take a step wrong with. Their Optimal Hydro Whey comes out pleasantly in terms of price/quality ratio and at the same time offers a relatively good taste (but not as good as Hydro Delicate), so there is definitely nothing to complain about. Plus, you can even try one-off samples before buying the whole pack, which you'll definitely appreciate.

HydroPure Whey Protein2nd place - HydroPure Whey Protein (Amix)

With HydroPure, you'll especially praise the great formula and functionality, which is of course the most important thing. Opinions on the taste are somewhat contradictory, for example, many of you found the chocolate to be over-sweetened and not very distinctive in taste. On the other hand, we did not see any negative reviews about the strawberry, for example. The preparation of the protein is simple, because it does not foam, does not form lumps and does not have problematic digestibility.

Advantages Disadvantages
+ Easy to prepare due to zero foaming
+ 4 flavours available right away, all with very good ingredients
- HydroPure uses acesulfame K, which is quite problematic for some
- Some flavors have given conflicting impressions among reviewers.

Overall rating

Amix is betting on a not quite traditional composition, adding for example additional peptides, probiotic bacteria, fenugreek extract and other atypical ingredients to the protein, but positive reviews of the product abound, the taste is quite good, the solubility is easy and the product has a very pleasant price within the hydrolysates.

Hydro Delicate3rd place - Hydro Delicate (Smartlabs)

Hydro Delicate is a protein whose name says it all. And after all, that's exactly what you appreciate about it too. With a rating of 4.65 points out of 5, it is sovereignly the best hydrolysate on the market, and you praise especially its composition, which is accompanied by a great and unadulterated taste. Many of you also like the digestibility, but some of you grumble about the foaminess during preparation.

Advantages Disadvantages
+ Great ingredients - Smartlabs, for example, uses real cocoa beans from Ecuador in the chocolate variant
+ Amazing taste that, despite using only sucralose, perfectly masks the characteristically bitter traces of hydrolysate
+ Good digestibility
- The protein foams quite intensely when prepared in a shaker

Overall rating

In our opinion, Hydro Delicate is the winner of the ranking of the best hydrolysates. The taste is really great, as well as the digestibility and composition. The only drawback in our opinion is the small selection of flavours, because if you don't like chocolate, you will only have vanilla to choose from. Anyway, with a price of 25 CZK per dose, it is not only the best, but also one of the cheapest hydrolysates. And we highly recommend it.

How and when do we recommend using hydrolysates?

The hydrolysate's primary use is, of course, with water and after training, when its fast digestibility is best. It makes no sense to add it to milk, as milk fat (like any other fat) would increase the digestion time and thus the hydrolysate would have no advantages compared to, for example, an isolate. For most ordinary exercisers we do not recommend hydrolysate as it has little justification for them. For professional athletes in the period before competition, hydrolysate is of course highly recommended by most experts.

The best vegan proteins

Whey, no matter how good a source of protein it is, runs into a fairly significant problem. It is not suitable for vegans. Fortunately, there are also vegan proteins on the market that tend to be made from peas, hemp, rice, soy, pumpkin or another plant source. And, as we reported in a separate article, the best way to do this is, of course, a combination of several different sources. Well, depending on which proteins are the most popular and top-rated among you, you know that very well. You have chosen:

1st place - Delicious Vegan Protein (Nutrend)

Thanks to your reviews,Nutrend Delicious Vegan Protein scored 4.67 out of 5 points, which earned it the first place in the best plant-based protein category. And no wonder, it combines good taste, multiple protein sources and a digestive enzyme complex, which is very important for vegan athletes after training. Of the flavours available, according to your reviews, you particularly recommend Pistachio & Marzipan and Coffee.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Delicious Vegan Protein contains 4 types of protein and a digestive enzyme complex
+ It has a very good taste in plant-based proteins and is available in three flavours
- Contains only 60% protein
- One serving costs just £29, which is quite a lot

Overall rating

If you don't mind that Delicious Vegan Protein contains only 60% protein, it is definitely worth investing in. It has a full spectrum of amino acids and the chosen protein sources complement each other effectively, so you can treat yourself to a complex and well-digestible product. What more could you ask for?

2nd place -Hemp Protein (Vegan Fitness)

While it might seem like a flavorless protein wouldn't make anyone very happy these days, the opposite is true. Hemp protein from Vegan Fitness caught your eye extremely and besides its cocoa-nutty taste, you also highlight its versatile use. Some people make it into a classic post-workout shake and recommend it with a banana, while others like it more in porridges, breakfast oatmeal or with white yogurt. But the important thing is that you are all satisfied.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ It tastes surprisingly good for an unflavoured protein
+ It contains only hemp powder, which has the CANAH® trademark for the highest purity and quality of hemp
+ One dose costs only 10 crowns
- The protein has only and only 50% protein content, which means many of you will need a larger dose

Overall rating

Although most of you describe the taste of the protein as very good, it may not suit everyone. While you can be assured that the protein doesn't taste artificial or over-sweetened, the intense plant-based flavor doesn't necessarily suit everyone. But if you don't mind, we can definitely recommend Hemp Protein from Vegan Fitness. The price is very reasonable, the spectrum of amino acids is really good in the context of plant proteins and you can also rely on the quality of hemp

3rd place - Vegan 80 (Extrifit)

Although Extrifit doesn't appear on the first places of your reviews very often, it usually ends up just below the top 3. Their Vegan 80 is an exception, however, where you'll praise both the good taste and the effective formula. Sometimes you complain about the rather thick consistency, but this is typical for plant-based proteins and you can easily get rid of it by adding more water.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Very tasty protein available in 4 flavours
+ Effective combination of pea and rice protein in a 1:1 ratio
+ Plus, it's enriched with digestive enzymes
- It's only available in a 2kg pack, so you have to buy a bit blind without trying samples first.

Overall rating

Extrifit is a reliable company producing quality products and Vegan 80 is proof of that. It contains up to 75% protein, which the previous two products definitely can't compete with. But at the same time, it retains a pleasant price and good taste qualities. So if you don't know which plant protein to choose to make it a safe bet, you won't go wrong with Vegan 80.

When and how to use plant proteins?

Plant proteins are primarily relevant to two groups of people. Firstly, it's vegans who can effectively and easily supplement their daily protein intake, and secondly, it's athletes with severe lactose intolerance that make it impossible for them to use conventional whey protein. Vegan proteins can then be taken both during the day and after training, and as with other protein sources, we recommend mixing them in water after training. Be careful with vegan proteins in particular, as they usually contain less protein than whey or overnight proteins and the dosage may be slightly higher.

The best overnight proteins and micellar caseins

Overnight proteins are a specific category of proteins. In most cases (ideally) it is micellar casein, which is a milk protein that is an efficient source of slow-release amino acids. This makes it possible to supply the body with amino acids even during the night, for example, to maintain a positive nitrogen balance and prevent catabolism. You can of course read more in a separate article. For the purposes of today's ranking, it is rather useful to know which night proteins you have chosen as the best:

1st place - Pure Micellar (Prom-In)

Despite nearly two hundred of your reviews, Pure Micellar managed to retain the top spot in your rankings. And that really says something about the quality. The protein comes in only two flavours - Vanilla and Chocolate, with Chocolate getting slightly better reviews from you and many even calling it the best tasting micellar casein on the market. On the other hand, in the case of Vanilla, you complain about the higher foaminess and slightly worse taste. The solubility is good in the case of Pure Micellar and the price, as is customary with Prom-In, is very pleasant.

Advantages Disadvantages
+ Great value for money
+ Very good formulation, the whole product is sweetened only with sucralose and neohesperidin
+ Pure Micellar is also enriched with a dose of free l-glutamine
- The product is only available in two flavours, with somewhat mixed reviews on the vanilla flavour

Overall rating

Pure Micellar is a really high quality product that is perhaps nothing to fault. It contains exactly what a proper overnight protein should contain and you won't find any unnecessary additives in it. You may have a bit of a problem with the choice of flavours, as vanilla tastes really rather strange and thus you have to settle for chocolate.

2nd place - Micellar Casein (HiTech)

A lot of music for little money. That's how you could sum up your opinion of Micellar Casein from HiTech. You praise perhaps all the flavours from strawberry to chocolate and vanilla to the less traditional biscuit. Only some of you complain about the somewhat poorer solubility and recommend preparing the protein with a blender, as it forms lumps in a regular shaker. Nevertheless, the vast majority of you recommend it and together you rated it 4.46 out of 5 possible points.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Great taste of all 6 flavours
+ Very good composition with over 80% protein content
- Manufacturer uses the problematic acesulfame K to sweeten for some
- Protein can form lumps when prepared in a shaker

Overall rating

According to our review, HiTech Micellar Casein is a very good protein that tastes great, digests well and has a relatively high protein content. We honestly did not notice lumping, but this could be due to, among other things, the higher humidity in your home or the storage conditions of the protein. If you don't want to pay more for casein than you need to, HiTech is a really good choice.

3rd place - Micelar Casein (Extrifit)

Extrifit 's Micellar Casein caught your eye primarily because of its atypical consistency reminiscent of semolina , and many of you even recommend mixing it in just a small amount of water, letting it smooth out, and eating it before bed like a pudding. Apart from that, however, it has a very good composition, can fill you up for the whole night and is easy to digest. Moreover, one dose costs only 17 CZK, which is a very pleasant price.

Advantages Disadvantages
+ The product is available in two pack sizes and three flavours
+ It contains a digestive enzyme complex and sucralose and steviol glycosides have been used to sweeten it
- The flavour evokes quite a mixed reaction - although most find it to their liking, many describe it as chemical

Overall rating

Extrifit is a solid and well-established brand that we definitely have nothing to fault with their products. When it comes to flavors, it's extremely individual - while some people can't get enough of Extrifit's flavors, others find them artificial and chemical. But the ingredients are always top-notch, as is the price/quality ratio.

When and how do we recommend using micellar casein?

We recommend using night proteins, and micellar casein as such, primarily before bedtime, because this timing ensures that the body will have a sufficient supply of amino acids during the night. However, it is also possible to use this protein during the day, especially in situations where you have a longer break between meals. It is also suitable for post-workout, but in this case it is good to mix it in a 1:1 ratio with one of the whey proteins.

The best multi-ingredient proteins

Multi-ingredient proteins may not be as popular, but they definitely have their merits. This is mainly based on the fact that while such casein releases fewer amino acids gradually, whey protein releases them quickly and over a shorter period of time. So why not combine the sources and create a protein that is effective both post-workout and throughout the day? Read more about this protein source in the separate protein guide. Which do you find to be the best?

1st place Pentha Pro Balance (Prom-In)

Pentha Pro Balance is an honest product available in 6 flavours and 3 different pack sizes. Although its ingredients have more or less caught everyone's attention, reviews of the protein flavors vary quite a bit. While you consider Chocolate & Coconut to be the best ever and praise the whole pieces of coconut, for example Blueberry is rather bland according to many of you.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ It's available in 6 great flavors and 3 pack sizes.
+ It's a combination of five different protein sources in high quality and with a great amino spectrum
- Some of you complain about the poor consistency and bland taste of some of the flavors

Overall rating

Pentha Pro Balance is perhaps nothing to complain about. For a relatively good price, you get a complex of 5 quality protein sources with varying digestibility, great taste and perfect digestibility. We especially appreciate the presence of the Oat Smoothie variant, which is de facto "unflavoured" and will please those of you who do not like flavours and an excessive portion of sweeteners in classic proteins.

2nd place - Whey Pure Fusion Protein (Amix)

Easy absorption, good solubility and a really wide selection of flavours to choose from. These are just a few of the many benefits that Pure Fusion Protein reviews highlight. However, in the same breath with a lot of flavours, many of you also add that it is quite sweet and so whatever flavour you choose, you may find that you have to use more than the recommended amount of water.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ 3 pack sizes and up to 14 flavours ranging from the traditional to the completely atypical such as Watermelon & Yoghurt
+ Good solubility as well as easy absorption in all variants of the product.
+ This is a very effective combination of concentrate and isolate enriched with digestive enzymes
- The protein contains stabilizers (collagen hydrolysate, xanthan and guar gum) that most competitors do not use
- Acesulfame K is also used to sweeten the protein, which some athletes may have reservations about.

Overall rating

Pure Fusion Protein is an affordable supplement also available in a four-pound version, so you don't have to order a new one every month. Its composition is good and the combination of isolate and concentrate definitely has its merits, on the other hand, the added substances spoil the overall impression a bit. Still, we can recommend the protein - once you taste it, you will see that it was a good choice.

3rd place - 100% Whey Protein Professional (Scitec)

Scitec 100% Whey Protein Professional is undoubtedly one of the most popular proteins on the market, as evidenced by the fact that over three hundred of our customers have rated it. The 4.84 out of 5 rating perhaps speaks for itself. You praise the taste, the very pleasant price, the wide choice of flavours and even the preparation and digestibility.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ You can choose from 9 different flavours, and if you like one of them a lot, you can order it in a 5kg pack.
+ A very soluble and easily digestible protein with a good composition.
+ Buying a 5kg pack will get you to a price of 13 CZK per serving, making 100% Whey Protein Professional one of the cheapest proteins on the market.
- For some of the less traditional flavours (e.g. White Chocolate, Strawberry) you complain about the artificial aftertaste
- Acesulfame K has been used for the ingredients, which is controversial for some athletes, and unfortunately some of the variants also contain Cl Food Yellow, which has been heavily criticised.

Overall rating

In its price range, 100% Whey Protein Professional has absolutely no competition and thanks to its very low price, all students and recreational athletes can afford it. In terms of composition, it is a very good combination of concentrate and isolate enriched with digestive enzymes. But anyway, we recommend to investigate the composition and choose variants without food yellow.

When and how do we recommend using multi-ingredient proteins?

As with other proteins, our recommendation applies here: after training with water, during the day with milk. Otherwise, there are no limits to the use of multi-ingredient proteins. If you choose a quality product (like one of the three mentioned above), you don't have to worry about post-workout use. It will fulfill its function at least as effectively as a classic concentrate.

The best beef proteins

Beef protein has been pigeonholed by many gym-goers as an inferior protein derived from beef collagen. So it's no wonder that the popularity of this category is minimal. While some manufacturers do indeed use quality beef without collagen, it's still meat. It's a food you usually want in the form of a good steak rather than a vanilla shake. Still, you've managed to pick this trio of the best beef proteins:

1st place - Anabolic Monster Beef Protein (Amix)

Although in the case of Anabolic Monster Beef Protein you quite often complain about the taste, which as expected is not very good, the composition of this protein is really first class, as well as its solubility and subsequent digestibility. Many of the reviewers have opted for this protein due to an inability to digest dairy products, in which case it is obviously a great choice.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Very good substitute for classic whey protein for people with strong lactose intolerance
+ It has a good composition and is available in 4 flavours
- Acesulfame K has been used to sweeten it, as with most other Amix proteins
- You can't count on a good taste, so we definitely recommend trying a sample in the gym before buying the whole pack, for example

Overall rating

If you have a choice between other alternatives, we definitely recommend to prefer them. However, once you're reliant on beef protein for health or other reasons, Amix is not a bad choice. Unlike the pofidery companies offering much cheaper products, this time you are assured of the origin of the ingredients and the nutritional values of the protein are, as well as the solubility and digestibility, very pleasant.

PeptiBeef (Extrifit)

2nd place - PeptiBeef (Extrifit)

Extrifit'sHydrolysed Beef Peptides are also a product that the vast majority of you found interesting and, although it sounds almost unbelievable, most of you even liked this protein. Some reviewers complain about the slightly bitter taste, but most of you really like the chocolate flavour in particular. The protein is highly soluble, great to digest, and the composition is extremely high quality.

Benefits Disadvantages
+ Up to 91% protein content, the addition of digestive enzymes and sucralose and steviol glycosides to sweeten the protein.
+ You can choose from 3 different flavours
+ One serving will set you back £19 which is a very good price
- All available flavours contain chocolate, so if you don't like it, you probably won't choose PeptiBeef.

Overall rating

Our rating is, of course, positive again in the case of PeptiBeef. The composition of this product is really good, because in addition to the 91% protein content, you also take in a complex of enzymes for better digestion, and no aspartame or acesulfame K disturb the overall impression. However, it is still a beef protein, so the taste may not suit everyone - although most people really like the chocolate PeptiBeef.
