Vanilla protein ice cream with fruit
Summer is slowly knocking on the door, so a recipe for a good homemade ice cream that is also packed with protein will really come in handy.
Ingredients:
- 120 g frozen fruit (ideally small berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or a mixture of these)
- 50 g of fat-free Greek yoghurt
- 20 g protein
- 50 -100 ml water
Procedure:
Freeze the fruit the day before. Put the frozen fruit, protein and yoghurt in a bowl. Add the liquid slowly, because if you put too much in, it will turn into a smoothie and not ice cream. So pour in some of the water. Take a stick blender and blend everything together to make a nice creamy ice cream. Transfer the finished ice cream into a container and you can consume it, but ideally put it in the freezer to set for another hour or two.
