Can you exercise in pregnancy? Crossfitter Annie Thorisdottir is definitely not afraid of it!

At the beginning we would like to point out that this article is definitely not meant to encourage anyone to exercise during pregnancy. We just want to point out a reality that is happening in the world.

If you are groping over the question whether it is possible to train during pregnancy, the answer is very simple - everything is possible if one wants to. Icelandic crossfitter Annie Thorisdottir is an example of this too. She got pregnant at the age of thirty-one, but it can't be said that it stopped her from training. Sure, she doesn't do English moves, but deadlifts, relocations, squats, one-arm push-ups, or stair climbs don't bother her. On the contrary, Anni looks happy while exercising and somehow she is not bothered by her big belly. Recently, Thor Björnsson , the world's strongest man (2018) and the world record holder in deadlift (501kg), also visited her for a training session, as he needed to beat his lungs for his boxing match with Eddie Hall.

Annie is one of the best crossfitters in the world. She has participated in the Reebok CrossFit Games 10 times (2011/2012 gold, 2010/2014 silver, 2017 bronze). But now her thoughts have shifted from racing to family. Her due date is unstoppably approaching - 5.8.

However, we are not doctors to judge whether exercising in pregnancy is the right move, so we don't want to judge whether Annie is doing the right thing or not.
