The legendary Shaquille O'Neal decided to change his lifestyle and started working hard!
The last two years have been really challenging for all of us... Given the situation that was occurring around the world, it was hard to find the right motivation in life. Especially if you're involved in a sport. One such person who lost his zest for life was the legendary basketball player Shaquille O'Neal. Maybe not all of our readers know O'Neal, so we'll just take the liberty of a brief introduction to him.
Shaquille O'Neal is a former American professional basketball player who, at around 150kg, was one of the heaviest players in the NBA. He also became the oldest player in the NBA when he managed to be on the professional scene for 11 years!

And it was this legendary basketball player, who started to get very procrastinated during the last year, as around 28 of his friends, including his sister, died in a short span of time. O'Neal was so devastated that the only thing he resorted to was watching Netflix and constantly consuming food.
"My sister died before Kobe, which was followed by 28 other people. 2020 was a really bad year and I didn't want to do anything. So, when you don't want to do anything but need to stay out of trouble, there are two things you can do: eat and watch Netflix." stated Shaquille
It's just that this lifestyle has gotten out of control for this four-time NBA champion. But then he realized he couldn't go on like this and started working hard! Shaq doesn't follow a very structured training schedule, yet he still goes to the gym every day for about an hour.
"I do 20 minutes of cardio, followed by chest, biceps, triceps, sit-ups, back - 30/45 minutes a day. So I work out about an hour a day," O'Neal confided.
As a result, he was able to lose 25-30 pounds in six months. At the same time, Shaq outlined that the following foods are the most common in his diet - fruits, protein shakes, salads, fish, chicken, asparagus or other vegetables.
It's definitely good to see that this basketball player hasn't farted out on life and started working hard. Even though O'Neal is no longer playing basketball, he still has over 20 million fans following him on Instagram, so he has some accountability to them as well!
