Honza Turek 12 weeks before the competition - "I don't do Cheat Day anymore!"
Honza Turek, a Czech professional bodybuilder and member of the Extrifit team, is currently in pre-contest training, which he plans to make the most of in less than 12 weeks.
His goal is the Romania Muscle Fest Pro on November 10, followed by the EVLS Prague Pro, which will take place a week later on November 17, and he plans to finish this season in another 14 days in Alicante, Spain at the Bigman Classic.
Below you can watch two of Honza's training videos, during which he was not only filmed but also interviewed by Extrifit PR manager Pavel Vacek.
During these interviews, for example, we learn an interesting fact that Honza captured during his visit to Dubai. Although he doesn't like this city because he doesn't like the heat, he was captivated by the Oxygen Gym network there. As he learned, they have large warehouses where they have a plethora of machines at their disposal, and they change them every two months, so training in the bowels of these gyms has no chance to get stale.

Carb dropping comes up as a topic, not just for him, but for the girls as well. Here, Honza states that girls go too fast or even take in too few carbs all the time to stay in shape. But as he adds, a super figure can be developed even on 200 g of carbohydrates a day, which is a successful example of Helena Sovova, who won second place at the European Championships in the wellness category this year.
Honza himself, as far as carbohydrate intake is concerned, has reduced the amount from 1000 g to 500 g, and as he adds, as always when he starts a diet, he feels as if he has no muscles. Gradually he will cut 50 grams every three weeks, and before the final filling, i.e. supercompensation, he will reach the limit of 100 grams of carbohydrates per day.
Then, at the end of the interview, they'll get to the topic of Cheat Day. As Honza himself says, he hasn't been doing this kind of eating and body shocking for a long time, nor has anyone from the current top of professional bodybuilding. Generally, he says, Cheat Day is being abandoned, and they are moving on to Reffed.
