Chris Bumstead and Ramon Rocha Queiroz worked out their backs together

Chris Bumstead and Ramon Rocha Queiroz are fierce competitors on stage, but when they're not competing, they have a cordial and friendly relationship. The duo recently teamed up for an intense back workout to push each other in the gym. They are two of the most elite competitive bodybuilders. They compete in the Classic Physique division of the IFBB Pro League and have cemented their dominance over this division by consistently finishing at the top.

Canadian Bumstead dethroned his predecessor Breon Ansley to become the 2019 Classic Physique Olympia champion. He has defended the top spot four consecutive times between 2020 and 2023. The 28-year-old competitor overcame many difficult situations to stay at the top of a division that includes elite bodybuilders like Urs Kalecinski, Breon Ansley, Terrance Ruffin and of course Ramon Rocha Queiroz. Although "CBum" plans to hang up his posing shorts soon, he is leaving nothing to chance and continuing on his winning ways. He sets up his training and diet to stay ahead of the competition.

Queiroz, meanwhile, is a Brazilian competitor who has risen quickly to become a formidable contender for Bumstead's top spot. The 28-year-old made his Olympic debut in 2021 and immediately climbed into the top five. In 2022 and 2023, he held on tightly to second place at Olympia, beating Bumstead by a slim margin.

While Queiroz prepares to defend his title at the 2024 Arnold Classic, Bumstead is in the midst of preparing for the 2024 season.

Their training included the following exercises:

  • Lat Pulldown on Iso-Lateral Machine
  • Lat Pulldown
  • Iso-Lateral Rows
  • Machine Bent Over Rows
  • Iso-Lateral Low Rows
  • Straight Arm Lat Pulldown
