Weightlifter Liu Weijian (67kg) put 190kg on clean & jerk!
If an athlete dominates in strength exercises, there is a fairly high probability that he or she will take the path of either power triathlon, strongman or weightlifting. And today we're going to focus on weightlifting, which has gained a lot of fans over the past few years. How is that possible, you ask? Just as interest in CrossFit has grown, so has interest in weightlifting, which is just an integral part of this specific sport like CrossFit. Athletes really enjoy working with the Olympic axis, so it's not surprising that more and more athletes are interested in weightlifting. At the same time, it turns out that weightlifting exercises such as the snatch/clean and jerk develop a power dynamic that is useful in the preparation of various sports.
And today, we're taking a look at the unofficial world record of a Chinese weightlifter who, at a body weight of 67kg, recently managed to move and punch an incredible 190kg! Liu's attempt was made at an unofficial competition, so it cannot be considered a world record. However, Liu was able to get almost three times his body weight over his head and at just 21 years old! Unbelievable!
