Terrence Ruffin's diet that helped him win the 2022 Arnold Classic
Terrence Ruffin won his second title at the Arnold Classic earlier this March. This earned him $60,000 and another $10,000 for winning the best posing category. He was absolutely the best in his classic physique category so it will be very interesting to see how Ruffin fares at Mr. Olympia 2022 where he will compete against the king of this division, Chris Bumstead.

After the Arnold Classic, Ruffin subsequently shared a video on his YouTube channel in which he showed his diet, which he kept just two days before the competition, and which allowed him to come to the podium so chiseled. Be forewarned, however, that this diet should not be copied by anyone who doesn't know what they're doing. Terrence is one of the best professional competitors in the classic physique category and he and his coach have clearly set both his training and his diet.
Many may be surprised, but Ruffin only had two meals and one protein shake two days before the competition. His diet was already really drastic and he really cut his calories to a minimum. Well, judge for yourself.
The first meal
- 50 grams of whey protein
- 50 grams of instant rice porridge
- 10 grams of almond butter
Second meal
- Protein shake
Third meal
- 90 grams of chicken
- 100 grams of cucumber
- Salt
