Jiří Tkadlčík - exclusive training with interview! LIVE LOVE LIFT #7

The seventh episode of the LIVE LOVE LIFT series is here! This time with the world's strongest man in the 105 kg category. You can watch the previous episode with Jakub Enzlhere.

Jiri Tkadlcik - STRONGMAN

We went to Přerov, where the Temple of Power is located. Jirka Tkadlcik trains there and last year he achieved his goal of becoming the strongest man in the world. In the video you will find out how Jirka evaluates it and what are his next plans and goals.

Jirka had his sparring partner Míra Kahánek, who also competes in "105", at the training. The training was very motivating and like from another planet. They are really incredibly strong! Even though they are just starting the season, they were lifting incredible weights for everything.

The atmosphere at the Temple of Power is unreal. From the very first moment, you are engulfed and just want to lift and lift! I recommend a visit.

The training was as follows:

  • SUPER YOKE 15m - 420 kg
  • VIKING PRESS - 204 kg
  • ELEPHANT BAR DEADLIFT - 350 kg
(bolded weight of the last set)

More in the video, so come check it out!

Jiří Tkadlčík- LIVE LOVE LIFT #7

We started with a super yoke that we carried for 15m. The yoke itself weighed 190kg! I was busy with the empty one and the guys added 50kg each. Even though Jirka was saving his groin, he ran the last set with 420kg straight. Míra ran half with that weight. Unbelievable!

Warmed up, we're going to the viking presses. I'm doing one set with the guys, since after the second set it's 120 kg. They gradually add more and try to go for one or two heavier reps.
Jirka came up to 204kg which he handled with ease. Míra did his PRko 194 kg ! Then Jirka went down to 170 and did about 4 strict reps. Let's move on...

Finally I tried the "elephant" longer axis. It's a big change from the classic. This time I managed 2 sets as it was again adding 50kg at a time. Mira finished the series at 283kg which he pulled out just fine. Then he didn't give up and tried to throw it up to 303!
There was a little bit missing and it was up.
Jirka's words didn't apply so easily today. He pulled just under 350kg on the deadlift and was keen to pull more.

Hats off to him, it's a huge amount of hard work and diligence as it's a really tough sport.

We hope you enjoyed the episode. Don't forget tosubscribe to our and Vasek's channel so you don't miss any more episodes!
