Hello readers of bodyburistika.com, my name is Denis Sterba and I have been doing competitive bodybuilding for seven years.

1st Moravian and Silesian Championship men over 90kg 2015

What competitions are you going to this year and what is the most important for you?

Well this is a tough question at the moment, I was going for autumn 2019, however my right knee has been bothering me for a while (for about two years now) but now it has started to limit me more and more, so I have an appointment with a specialist in Olomouc, so we will see. I want to compete though, so the second option will be spring 2020.

If someone asked you for the top 3-5 supplements in your opinion, what would you recommend?

Definitely a good quality protein in the first place, second place it's terribly important to get your vitamins, minerals and trace elements. In third place I would probably put glutamine it also plays a big role in recovery, growth and many other aspects.

What is your current weight and how much are you going to be for the competition?

My current weight is around 111 kg, I'm definitely planning to weigh over 100 kg for competitions because I'm too tall for 100 and I look subtle there, although I'm mainly playing on quality, readiness and symmetry.

Do you have any sparring?

Sure, my girlfriend :)

How much fluid do you drink a day?

I drink about four litres of water a day, more in the summer.

Who is your coach?

My trainer is Viktor Hell, he's a biochemist and he understands the issues when it comes to food, supplementation and exercise .

What are your goals in your personal life?

Definitely family and creating the perfect background for it.

How many grams of carbohydrates do you take in per day in volume?

In volume I try to eat around 400 grams of carbs and around 350 grams of carbs, I don't count fats much so I'm not a big eater :)

Has anything changed in your training since your last race?

Definitely, every preparation is different and especially every year you get more experienced.

How long have you been under the SIZEANDSYMMETRY brand? And how satisfied are you with your cooperation?

I've been under the sizeandsymmetry brand for less than a year, but I've known them for about six years and they've supported me several times in the past, so I'm happy.

Do you like practicing maximals? And what are your go-to squat, bench and deadlift?

Unfortunately, I don't do max deadlifts, I don't do squats for the last few months through the knee as I mentioned above, benchpress is 150kg for 8 reps, maxes are not for me. :-)

Do you have any mentees under you?

I don't really have any confidants, but there are guys who consult me and we keep in close contact.

If you wanted to thank someone or say something, who and what would it be?

I would definitely like to thank all the people that are close to me, I hang out with great people, (family, friends, girlfriends)
