The bodybuilder's diet: what does Nathan de Asha eat in the bulking phase?
Nathan De Asha is a likable British bodybuilder and a stalwart among heavyweights. But his competitive career has been rather complicated in recent years. For example, last January he injured his biceps in the gym and had to undergo surgery, which kept him out of competitions for some time. But then he came back and even managed to win two professional competitions and gained quite a few new fans thanks to the rivalry with other competitors. But in the end, it was not to be, because Nathan did not get a visa to participate in the American Mr. Olympia.
But even that didn't deter him and he still gives bodybuilding his best. In a recent video on his YouTube channel, he showed his volume diet, in which he eats a lot. The goal then is a 300-pound benchmark, which corresponds to a weight of about 136 kilograms.
"The first meal is just two eggs, two bagels and 50 grams of protein powder, When I'm out of season I like to add cheese to my eggs because eggs are terrible on their own. That's the way it is, I'm not exactly the typical bodybuilder. And today is my last off-season day before we start training tomorrow," Nathan starts his day off lightly.

But if you were expecting a list of all seven meals this British professional eats in a day to be in a similar vein, you would be mistaken.
"Second meal. We've got 150 grams of uncooked rice and 150 grams of uncooked chicken, our vegetables like peppers and onions, and something for seasoning."
He gives Nathan a slight insight into his next meal. As training starts to approach, he adds another lighter meal of 150 grams of ESN's rice porridge, 50 grams of protein, 150 grams of banana and cinnamon. According to him, this meal is easy to digest and is so great before training.
The workout itself is also calorie-free, as Nathan sips a complex drink that contains 50 grams of carbohydrate powder, glutamine or creatine, among other things. After the workout comes Nathan's least favourite food, which is Coco Puffs, a sweet cereal with 50 grams of Iso Whey protein.
Then comes the aforementioned bodybuilding classic of chicken and rice. The sixth meal of the day is then followed by the seventh, which is similar, but with the addition of chicken, such as lamb, and Nathan mentions in the video that he eats another 350 grams of rice. In order to chase away his sweet tooth, he finishes this massive dinner, which he serves at 9:30 pm, with a Lindt chocolate Easter egg.
