Mark Wahlberg shares his "cheat" meals and all-day eating
Mark Wahlberg takes his fitness and health seriously. In a recent YouTube video, the Hollywood star shared his daily diet. Wahlberg also reveals what changes he made to his diet for his recent movie Arthur The King, as well as his favorite "cheat meal".
"Hi, I'm Mark Wahlberg and today I'm going to show you what my diet looks like."

Mark Wahlberg has a resume a mile long, and he's still got work to do. From music and modeling to acting, Wahlberg has dabbled in just about everything! With all that he does, however, Wahlberg still manages to make his health and fitness a top priority. At 52 years old, Mark Wahlberg maintains his chiseled physique through a combination of 4 a.m. workouts, cold dives and a strict diet. Unfortunately, Wahlberg revealed that age is catching up with him and recently adjusted his training regimen to accommodate these changes. Once training seven days a week, Wahlberg now focuses on rest and recovery.
Mark Wahlberg takes fans through a full day of eating
Mark starts with vitamins and coffee before training and then has a big breakfast after training.
"I got up. I'll take my vitamins. I'll drink water. I'll take a small dissolvable zinc tablet and then I'll have a triple espresso. I'll have a coffee, get in some cold water, go outside, and then take a creatine and a branched-chain amino during my workout."
"I had five eggs this morning, about 45 minutes after my workout. I had two hard-boiled eggs and three scrambled eggs. I had a pork chop, which I just put a little salt and pepper on. I had wild smoked salmon, Greek yogurt and berries and then I had green juice with moringa. That was at eight in the morning."
For lunch, Wahlberg makes sure to have a variety of proteins, vegetables and fruits. For dinner, Mark has planned steak, fish and vegetables.
"At 11:00 I had chicken breast and chicken thighs, sweet potatoes, broccoli, a bowl of fruit, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, and then I had a handful of pistachios and a handful of almonds. Then at two o'clock I had a crab salad with sashimi salmon with a little cucumber and a few pieces of chicken breast."
"Tonight I'll have a nice steak, some sea bass or halibut, and some vegetables."
Mark Wahlberg talks about dieting for his role in Arthur The King and also describes a "cheat day"
Mark Wahlberg stars in the new Arthur The King movie about an adventure racer. Wahlberg sporting the role revealed how his diet changed while working on the project.
"You know what? I was on the cleanest program or regimen when I went to do Arthur. I was riding my bike and doing a lot of things and training and preparing to hopefully look like an adventure racer months in advance, and I tore my meniscus on the first day of shooting and the only thing that provided any comfort was a really tall iced jumbo beer at the end of the day."
"So my diet went by the wayside after the first day and I wasn't taking any painkillers or anything like that, I couldn't have surgery, so I figured after a long hard day sweating in the jungle, the best medicine for me was a couple of cold jumbo beers."
When it comes to "cheat meals", Mark Wahlberg knows how to have a good time, so he'll have tequila, chocolate and lots of pasta.
"If I do the cheat meal right this time, I have to have either tequila and have chocolate and some other dessert and you know, five different kinds of pasta. After not having anything unhealthy for a long time I'm surprised I don't feel good the next day. I could have expected that."
"My favorites...hmm I like chicken pot pie, Thanksgiving dinner, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy. Sometimes I walk through the pastry department and just look and think of all the things I want to eat. But I know if I took one of each and ate them, I probably wouldn't feel very good afterwards."
