Chris Bumstead wins the Gymshark team "test of strength"! How would you have done?

Most global sports brands have a team that promotes the brand. The famous Gymshark brand is no exception. The latter posted a video on its recent YouTube channel in which the brand's main faces came together to compete in a strength challenge. This consisted of each individual athlete getting the most weight over their head in a push press. David Laid explained why the challenge was in this particular exercise.

"We can't do something too bodybuilding based and we can't do something too CrossFit based, we need a perfect middle ground."

The most recognizable faces you'll see in the video are clearly Chris Bumstead and Noah Ohlsen. There's been a lot written about Chris on our magazine and every bodybuilding fan will know this guy, but we'll still give you a brief introduction. Bumstead is currently the main face of the classic physique division, in which he managed to win three times in a row at Olympia. Noah Ohlsen's domain, by contrast, is in crossfit. This athlete was able to take second place at the 2019 CrossFit Games, placing him among the best crossfitters in the world.

Although many would have assumed that one of the best crossfitters, Ohlsen, would be the one to get the most weight over his head in the push press, it was Chris who managed to win the challenge by getting 120kg over his head!

Competition rules:

• Both legs must be directly below the hips
• Doesn't have to be strict execution

• Elbows must be locked
• After locking, the bar must be in line with the body
