Chris Bumstead pulled 6x265kg on deadlift
Chris Bumstead is in the training process and should capitalize on that during this December. He would like to get his fourth win in this competition during the Olympia Weekend and extend his reign in the classic physique division.
In early January, Chris informed his fans that he eats around 4161 calories per day. That changed during the bulking phase and Bumstead's current daily intake is around 5200 calories. Chris prefers to satisfy his dietary requirements through whole foods rather than supplements. However, he does not mind using supplements in addition to a nutritionally rich healthy natural diet.
Chris Bumstead's Daily Macros
- Calories - 5,203
- Carbohydrates - 666 grams
- Fat - 156 grams
- Protein - 290 grams
Chris includes sauna and ice baths in his preparation for the Olympia, which he says are designed to help with recovery and overall health.
I haven't always loved the extreme heat, but the sauna always feels damn good. It helps facilitate stretching, relieves tension headaches and is a great way to detox. I haven't always liked colds either, but I've definitely learned to love ice baths because they help reduce overall inflammation, which is great for my autoimmune and overall health. When used alone they are both amazing, but together their benefits just stack on top of each other, such as aiding circulation/blood flow leading to better heart health, reducing stress in the body, muscle recovery, and more.
In a recent Instagram post, Chris shared a video of him practicing deadlifts. Specifically, he pulled 6x265kg. Clearly, this feat is not groundbreaking in terms of strength sports, but it's important to remember that Bumstead is not a strength athlete but a bodybuilder.
