Wings of Strength Romania Muscle Fest Pro 2021 - Milan Šádek won a great 6th place!

On Sunday, November 14, Romania's Bucharest was the venue for this year's Wings of Strength Romania Muscle Fest Pro, which featured competitions in both men's open bodybuilding and men's bodybuilding with a maximum weight limit of 212 pounds.

In both of the aforementioned categories, there was a battle for both the win and, of course, qualification for Olympia Weekend 2022.

As far as the cast of both categories is concerned, many of those who presented at the recent EVLS Prague Pro 2021 were on stage. Considering that the competitions were held very close to each other, not only in terms of dates but also in terms of distance, it is not surprising at all.

Open category

Among the heavyweights there were 24 competitors, including three Czechs - Milan Šádek, Pavel Beran and Honza Turek, which made the competition all the more attractive for the Czech bodybuilding fan.

Pavel Beran and Honza Turek, as well as a number of other fighters, also competed in Prague the weekend before last. Besides them, there were also Roelly Winklaar, Kevin Gebhard, Emir Omeragic, but also Samson Dauda and Rafael Brandao, the best two competitors of the Prague show! They were undoubtedly among the strongest favourites to win.

This was confirmed by the first semi-final comparison, in which the judges chose this pair. Besides them, there were also the foursome of Emir Omeragic, Quinton Eriya, professional newcomer Behrooz Tabani, but also our Milan Šádek!

The already mentioned pair Dauda - Brandao got into the middle of the line during the posing, which only confirmed the fact that they will be the winner!
On their sides were Quinton Eriya and Behrooz Tabani, who at that moment were fighting for the TOP 3 position. Eriya, however, was later replaced by Emir Omeragic, thus becoming a rival for our Milan Šádek in the fight for the TOP 5 position!

The second judged semifinal group, in which the fight for who would be placed in the TOP 10, consisted of Dani Kaganovich, Bruno Oliveira Santos, Bela Kokeny, Marcelo Cruz, Fabio Romagnolo and the very experienced Roelly Winklaar.

In the third comparison, the six of Khaled Alkazem, Aivars Grigjānis, Boyan Ivanov, Pouria Payoun, Artur Kovalev and the second Czech Pavel Beran were side by side.

The fourth comparison was for the rest of the starting field which consisted of Morgan Aste, Ahmet Koçak, Toni Kohonen, Victor Rea, Kevin Gebhardt and unfortunately the last of the three Czechs Jan Turek.

The fifth and last semi-final comparison was for the foursome of Behrooz Tabani, Rafael Brandao, Samson Dauda and Emir Omeragic.

Already after the semi-final battles it was clear that Milan Šádek would be the best of our riders at the races, who should finish at worst sixth, the pair Pavel Beran and Honza Turek will probably not make it into the TOP 10.
How the competition will end, however, was to be decided only in the evening final.

The Brazilian Rafael Brandao won his first professional victory! He won the judges over to his side mainly with his full, hard and round muscles, his elegant and symmetrical physique, and last but not least, a very hilariously loose routine, which he dedicated to the recently deceased Shawn Rhoden.

Although this ward of the legendary Milos Sarchev did not have the same form as he did in Prague, he is assured of direct qualification for Mr. Olympia 2022! So he has 13 months to work on his form, but also on the volumes he will need in such select company to think about a better result!

Taking home second place is another of Sharcev's charges, Samson Dauda. The bodybuilder, who can boast one of the most aesthetic figures of the current bodybuilding scene, also did not compete here in such a form as he did a few days ago in Prague, but he was still far from the other competitors.

Third place was won by Behrooz Tabani, who can be proud of the title of absolute world champion from 2016.
Behrooz showed here that he will have to be reckoned with in the future as an adept for the top positions, as he presented not only great form but also a balanced and elegant figure. His only weakness, though not a major one, is his thighs, which could use some extra muscle.

German racer Emir Omeragic achieved a very respectable fourth place in his second professional start. The confidant of Chris Aceto, a specialist in pre-competition preparation, offered a symmetrical and very balanced figure, excellent separation and final preparation. He proved once again that he has a huge potential!

The Canadian Quinton Eriya also made his way into the Top 5. He also has a very attractive body type, but he needs to pack more kilos of muscle mass on his frame.

Milan Šádek, just like some time ago in Italy, took a very good sixth place. His form was excellent, and he rightfully became the most successful Czech on the podium! His goal will be to continue to work on the volumes he still lacks to compete with the best.

However, Milan is still improving under the guidance of Tomáš Bures, and there is no doubt that he will want to show his improved form again in the upcoming competition season!

Pavel Beran took thirteenth place, confirming that he is not doing well this season. However, this does not change the fact that he has enough potential! He just needs to find a recipe to fulfill it and present himself in a much better form. As such, there is plenty of volume. Maybe he will show us his improved self during the upcoming competition season.

The last of the Czech representatives, i.e. Honza Turek, was awarded by the judges with a split sixteenth place, which is quite a harsh result, considering that he was one of the candidates for the top positions here, considering his sixth place from the EVLS in Prague. While he wasn't as full here, he offered much better form compared to the other competitors! However, nothing can be done, and he too now has the bulk of his preparation for the 2022 competition season ahead of him.

We cannot fail to mention the name of Roella Winklaar. He competed here again, as he does during the autumn part of the season, rather in exhibition form, which led him to ninth place. Certainly he could have placed even deeper in the results, but given his name and a certain prestige, the judges would not dare to do so. The question is whether it is worth it for him, though, and wouldn't it be better to say goodbye to his competitive career with some respect.

The lighter weight category also featured a large starting field of eighteen fighters. Of course, there were also several bodybuilders who competed at EVLS in Prague a few days ago. They were Samir Troudi, Radoslav Angelov and Ahmad Ashkanani, who, as the winner of EVLS, was clearly the biggest favourite for the triumph.

It was he who was immediately selected by the judges for the first semi-final comparison, in which he was joined by the five of Babak Akbarnia, Radoslav Angelov, Jafar Ghaffar Nezhad, Nasser Sayed and Angel Calderón Frias, winner of the previous two editions(2019 and 2020). The latter then posed with Ashkannia in the middle of the line, and thus the two of them battled it out for the win.

Both fighters were not only the absolute most powerful, but also prepared very good phases for their performances! So it was not easy to decide who was better, one or the other had to win. In the end the judges chose Frias, who scored his third Romanian victory in a row. He was able to qualify again for the Olympia Weeekend, where he took a great fourth place this year at 212 Olympia 2021!

The second place went to Ahmad Ashkanani, who does not have to be disappointed at all, because thanks to his Prague triumph he is also sure to participate in the 212 Olympia 2022 competition.

The third place was also taken by the very well prepared Jafar Ghaffar Nezhad, who returned to the competition stage after a two-year hiatus when he was last seen at Monsterzy Pro 2019.
