Shawn Rhoden, Mr. Olympia 2018, has died!

Shocking news came from overseas a few dozen minutes ago, informing us that Shawn Rhoden, the 2018 Mr. Olympia titleholder, has passed away at the age of 46!

According to sources, the cause of his death could have been a heart attack as he reportedly did not wake up from sleep. No further information is available at this time.

Shawn's last appearance on the competition stage was at Olympia Weekend 2018, where he was accused of rape in 2019, and American Media, Inc. (AMI), the company that has been the 100% owner and organizer of Mr. Olympia since 2017, revoked his right to compete in Mr. Olympia for life, effective immediately!

Although Shawn denied guilt, underwent several court hearings and even a polygraph examination, he was never acquitted of the charges, which led to his quiet retirement as a bodybuilder.

Many hoped that he might yet return to the competition boards. Sadly, that will never happen again.
