Yamamoto Cup Pro 2021 | Reportage

Last weekend, the Yamamoto Cup Pro 2021 took place in Rome, Italy, with the Open category taking part.

Since the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League management has not yet released the rules of the qualification key for Olympia Weekend 2022, we cannot tell you for sure what fighters, if any, qualified for Mr. Olympia 2022 from this event. The rules are set to change for the upcoming season, but no one knows how.

But let's go back to the Rome contest. On its podium there were a total of 14 fighters, including this year's Mr. Olympia participants Roelly Winklaar and Andrea Presti, a pair of British competitors Nathan De Asha and Samson Dauda, who scored a start at the recently held first edition of the Arnold Classic UK, or our pro Milan Šádek, who chose this competition to enter this season.

Immediately for the first semi-final comparison, the judges, as expected, chose the foursome of Nathan De Asha, Samson Dauda, Roelly Winklaar and Andrea Presti. The pair De Asha - Dauda posed in the middle of the row, the latter was later replaced by Winklaar. It was obvious that one of them would be the winner of the competition.

For the Czech fan, the second comparison was interesting, in which, at the request of the judges, the foursome of Tim Budesheim, Theo Leguerrier, Boyan Ivanov and our Milan Šádek met. It was Milan who posed together with Theo in the middle of the line, and realistically fighting for a place in the TOP 5!

In the third comparison, the rest of the starting field gathered, and in the last, fourth comparison, the fighters from the first comparison presented themselves in front of the judges, which was completed by Theo Leguerrier and our Milan Šádek! In the middle of this line again posed the pair De Asha - Winklaar.

The well prepared Nathan De Asha, who recently dominated the first edition of the Arnold Classic UK professional show, finally fought his way to his ninth professional victory.

Nathan offered both very solid volumes and excellent readiness, which was embellished by a really nice physique. Broad shoulders, broad back, and yet all together a very narrow waist, all of this literally looks like a feast for the eyes.

Second place was taken by Roelly Winklaar, who benefited here especially from his massiveness, and this time again he was able to offer his proverbial "WOW" factor, which he lacked at the Olympia!

Third place went to Samson Dauda. Whatever pose he strikes, he looks very elegant. However, he loses to his rivals, and very significantly, in volume. But if he were a little more bulky, he'd certainly have a realistic shot at unseating Roelly!

Andrea Presti won the fourth place in front of his home crowd. It should be noted that his performance was very much enjoyed by the local fans, which gave quite a lot of credit to him and motivated his fighter to an excellent performance.

Theo Leguerrier was the last one to make it through the Top 5. His greatest asset was his posing, which he proved not only with an excellent and very appealing free routine, but also during the individual comparisons.

Our Milan Šádek came in sixth place, which is not a bad result considering the competition on the stage! He also benefits from very appealing shapes, but unfortunately, like Dauda, he loses to his rivals especially in the area of massiveness.
