Weight is not important!
Stop watching your body weight, but rather watch the mirror and measure your parts to better show your current shape or change.
Probably 80% of the guys starting out in the gym want to be over 100kg and they stuff themselves full of calorie dense food + Gainer and end up finding out that although the weight went up, the waistline increased by 5cm which is a tragic scenario.
Perhaps 80% of women want to be under 50kg and consume too few macronutrients thinking the weight will go down. Eventually they find that they may have lost weight, but unfortunately it was mainly muscle mass, which again is a tragic scenario because the body is not strong, has no shape and is generally flabby.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- If you are gaining muscle mass, measure your areas and don't look at the scale! It is much better to gain 2kg without changing your waist size than to gain 5kg with an increase of 3cm.
- If you are losing weight, again, don't look at your body weight, but watch the mirror and especially measure your parts! You may only lose maybe 2kg but you will retain or even gain some muscle mass and it will look much better than losing 5kg and losing muscle at the same time.
- It's all about eating right of course if you want to look good and be fit. If you only want to be big at the cost of a waist over 100cm or, conversely, lose weight at the cost of flabby muscles, then you don't need to worry about diet.
