Resistance rubber upper for women: flexible workout for fitness and home

In this article, I'll introduce some exercises for flexible resistance band exercises that can easily be incorporated into your fitness program or home routine. All you will need are longer rubber bands for back, shoulder, biceps, triceps and chest exercises and one smaller one to work your abs with. All types of resistance bands can be found here on the website in the equipment section.

Resistance band exercise is an innovative exercise tool that has become a favorite among fitness enthusiasts of all levels. Its unique design and variability allow you to perform a variety of exercises that strengthen and shape different muscle groups.

Together, we'll show you some effective exercises that will work out your entire top. I've focused most on the back in this workout plan, so we'll go over a larger number of exercises.

Before we get into the exercises themselves, let's recap the main benefits of using resistance rubber:

  1. Full body exercise: Allows you to work different muscle groups, both upper and lower body. You can include many different exercises in your workout.
  2. Flexibility and mobility.
  3. Low joint load: It is gentle on your joints, which is especially important for people with arthritis or other joint problems.
  4. Workout Anywhere, Anytime: It is compact and easily portable, making it the perfect companion for fitness workouts at home, on the go or at the gym.

We already know everything we need, so let's get exercising!

Exercise program:

Exercise Series Repetition
Pulling in front of the head unilaterally 3 SS + 15
Lunges in front of the body 3 SS + 20
Shoulder presses 3 SS + 10 l + 10 p
Chest pressures 3 SS + 20
Biceps lift 3 SS + 15
Kick back 3 SS + 15
Leg extensions in shortening 3 SS + 10 l + 10 p
Climber 3 SS + 30

Pulling in front of the head unilaterally

Grasp the elastic band slightly past shoulder width, starting in a phase with arms extended, pulling shoulder blades together and shoulders back and down. We also keep our tummies contracted and do not bend at the hips. Slowly and in a controlled manner, we contract with a downward exhale, focusing on the contraction in the down phase. Again, we controllably go to the starting position, making sure to keep our shoulders and shoulder blades correctly engaged the whole time so that the back engages as it should. The elbows are pointing slightly forward at all times.

Lunges in front of the body

Bend over, legs slightly bent, grasp the rubber at shoulder width, cervical spine in neutral position, middle of the body firm, elbows close to the body. Exhaling, pull the elastic towards the waist, at the top phase slightly pull the chest up and shoulders back for better contraction. With an inhale we go to the starting position.

Pressures on the shoulders

The position starts in a kneeling position, where we put one leg forward so that both legs are at right angles at the knees. We are in this position to better engage the center of the body. We lock the shoulder blades down towards the rib cage, forearms perpendicular to the ground. From this starting position, with the rubber under the chin, we lift with an overhead exhale into a near-forearm extension, then go back to the starting position and switch legs.

Pressures on the chest

Lie on your back, legs bent, place the rubber at about shoulder blade level, grasp the rubber at a distance slightly greater than shoulder width apart. Pull shoulder blades together, shoulders back and down. With an exhale, using the activation of the pectoral and arm muscles, stretch the rubber into the forearms. With an inhale, go back to the starting position.

Biceps stroke

Assume a stable position where you strengthen the middle of your body, bend your knees slightly, making sure that your shoulders do not fall forward. Grasp the rubber approximately shoulder width apart, arms are alongside the body and with an exhale, lift into a biceps contraction. Return to fully extended arms.

Kick back

This exercise will be performed unilaterally. The position starts in a forward bend, with the upper arm horizontal to the ground and the forearm freely lowered downwards. From this position, with an exhale, stretch the elastic in a controlled motion until the muscle contracts maximally.

Leg extensions in the shortening

Lie on your back, go into a crunch position, with your hands behind your head, elbows out, legs at right angles, put a rubber band over your feet and stick your hips to the mat. With an exhale, we extend one leg, with the abdominals fully adjacent, and then with an inhale, we go back to the starting position, not releasing the abdomen here either. Then we switch legs. We do not relax the abdominal muscles throughout the entire exercise.

Climber

Put the rubber over your feet again, the starting position is upright. Arms are extended, palms touching the mat, trying to keep shoulders and palms above each other. We brace the middle of our body, the pelvis is neither too far up nor down, the feet are shoulder width apart and the head is in extension of the spine. With an exhale, we controllably put the leg in a crouch underneath us and alternate legs. We also try not to rotate our hips throughout the exercise.

In this article, I've introduced some effective exercises to help you work out your entire upper body. Remember, performing the exercises correctly is important to achieve maximum results and minimize the risk of injury. Also keep in mind proper breathing and focus on engaging the right muscle groups.
Resistance rubber can be a great addition to your training and can be incorporated into your program to meet your individual needs and goals. You'll be surprised how effective and fun resistance band workouts can be.

So don't hesitate to start working out with resistance bands today! You'll improve your fitness, strength and flexibility and take your training to the next level. Stay active and keep your body moving because health is the most valuable thing you have.
