Crossfit training - 9.díl
Hi I bring you another video from our training.
This time we trained with Dejve in České Budějovice, more precisely in Performance power center.
I have a great time training with David, he always manages to get me going. No wonder, during this week he improved his maxes (PR) snatch 115kg and C&J 140kg.
Which are already really nice numbers for how long he's been doing this.
Check out the video of the workout:
I am now in strength training, where I am making up what I can. We left the training according to David, because in 14 days he is going to compete in the 2+2 team competition called "Elite Battle of Brno".
Where he has teamed up with Czechoslovakia's top athletes Marketa Tarasova, Karin Freyova and Tomas Bystron. They will definitely be attacking the podium.
Something about our training.
We had something from everyone, a combination of gymnastics, weightlifting and conditioning. Crossfit is all about being as versatile as possible and you have to be ready for anything.

Sorry this is coming out so late today, but we were in Mlada Boleslav, more specifically at the Marvel Gym where the next episode of #strenghtwars was filmed today.
One of the competitors was our Prague #bcross athlete, who is now drawn more to strongman. I have to say it was a great experience and a huge show for him. Stay tuned for a video from Swaglift. Next week you'll see Zbynek (@zustak_z) with me in a training video.
I have to thank especially the #supertrenerczteam and their partners from whom I have the biggest and best support. Also Dejv for sparring and also optimalnutrition who both support us.
After the warm up and mobility we moved on to the first part where we had double jumps with push-ups in a standing position. We took it at more of a warm up pace.
We're still trying to push ourselves, which is why we incorporated the strict parallel hspu. Which will drop us into a deficit. The DUs were cool by comparison.
Then we moved into the strength portion. Where we added weight and subtracted reps.
It started with clusters, which is moving into overhead squats. The starting weight was 80 and we ended up at 100. Then starting at 105, we continued with squat cleans, ending at 125.
David did all of this in 15 minutes. I, in that time, only got to a weight of 120, which I didn't make. He showed me how he had lifted compared to me and that in turn propelled me forward.

The last part was a WOD for strength endurance with just a barbell. Ten rounds, three exercises SDHP, FS and PUSHJERK, all 7 reps each. For the best time possible.
We held on to each other like a tick and no one wanted to be the last one to finish. It was a tug of war until the 7th round, but then we went the same way until the last rep.
We rode every lap without laying down (unbroken) and finished the same with a time of 10:38.
Currently David is still preparing for the Belgrade throwdown qualifier in Serbia with Marketa. After that, we are all signed up for the Czech Crossleague Crossfit League, where we have to send the first two WODs in a week.

Have a nice rest of the day and lots of strength in training. Don't forget that you have to enjoy it and above all have fun. Bye :)
