Body mobility, muscleup technique and walking on hands
Hey. Hey. Today we are going to show you another crossfit workout that I did together with David.
At the beginning of the workout we focused on body mobility, then we did a lot of musleup techniques and hand walking.
The weather was beautiful so we were able to train outdoors with the sun giving us strength. We did tire flips (tireflips) combined with lunges and farm walking. We saved the team wod for last.
Lately I've been putting a lot of emphasis on body mobility and trying to stretch properly, as it's needed for exercises not only on the barbell but also with my own weight. At the beginning of the workout, we ran around and took a moment to focus on body mobility.
Then we moved on to box jumps, which are box jumps. We started at 60cm and gradually added kettle bells. We jumped from the ground, and when the box was already high enough, we helped ourselves by running. I stopped at 125cm and Dejvid even jumped over 150cm. We finished the warm-up with a squat with weights on our knees, which is also one of the best exercises for body mobility.
In the next part we practiced "skills", firstly the technique of walking on our hands, where we prepared a nice obstacle course. First we crossed various high poles, finishing with stairs that were made of discs. We walked the course in both directions and managed to do it twice each time.
This was followed by muscleups, which I've been focusing on a lot lately. The weather outside allowed us to pull a tire. Outside we did a 15min EMOM where we rolled the tire 4 times in the first minute, went a total of 10 lunges with the bonk overhead in the second, and finished with a 20m farm walk. We saved the team WOD for the end of the workout, which we did as a relay.
