Seven riders present their current forms from the preparation for Indy Pro 2021

Open heavyweights Dorian Haywood, Carlos Chapa and Shawn Smith, and their lighter counterparts in the 212-pound division, Samir Troudi, Sahar Kazes, Nathan Epler and Thomas Lenihan, are among the IFBB Professional League representatives Jim Manion's team that have their current preparation focused on this year's Indy Pro competition, which will open the pro season on May 8.

First up, let's take a look at the trio of heavyweights who will compare notes on the podium in the Open category, where the likes of Blessing Awodibu will make his debut..

Dorian Haywood

Dorian has competed at Indy Pro in 2018 and 2019, finishing 10th and 6th respectively, which is also his best result among the elite so far. He would like to improve on that this year.

Carlos Chapa

Carlos Chapa will make his second professional start at the 2021 Indy Pro on May 8. The bodybuilder made his debut among the elite at the 2018 Wings of Strength Muscle Vodka Tampa, where he finished tied for 16th.

He would like to improve on his result in Indianapolis.

Shawn Smith

Currently weighing in at 125 kilograms, Shawn headed to the pros in 2018 when he took 2nd place in the over 102 kilograms category at the NPC Nationals. Since then, he has made two competitive starts, at the 2019 Tampa Pro where he finished 10th, and at the 2020 Chicago Pro where he placed 13th.

He, too, would like to move higher on the results list.

From the heavyweights, we now move on to the next four fighters who will compare their forms in the 212lb division.

Samir Troudi

Samir Troudi, who last competed at the 2019 Legion Sports Fest Pro, is expected to return to the podium after missing last year's competition. He didn't fare well at the aforementioned event, finishing as high as 13th. Right behind him was our Vojta Koritensky, who moved up to the IFBB Elite Pro category last season.

With 9 weeks to go before the 2021 Indy Pro, the following series of photos will give you an idea of the form this 2018 Olympia 212 Showdown participant has.

Sahar Kazes

Sahar will be making his second pro start at the Indy Pro. The first one, and it must be said, a very successful one, was at the Musclecontest Ireland Pro 2019, where he finished 4th.
He wanted to compete in the same competition last year, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic it was cancelled, so Sahar did not wear a competition swimsuit at all during last season.

He wanted to start the season in Ireland this year as well, but due to the fact that the competition was moved from the originally planned April date to December, he decided to just do the Indy Pro 2021. The very next weekend he plans to start at the New York Pro 2021.

Thomas Lenihan

Thomas, who is a ward of pre-competition specialist Chris Aceto, has two competitive starts under his belt. Those came at the 2018 Dallas Pro (8th place) and the 2019 Indy Pro (15th place).

He would like to improve on his last place finish from Indianapolis 2019 this year.

Nathan Epler

Nathan, who will be representing the home team, also wanted to compete at last year's edition of this event, and score his pro premier here. However, the competition was cancelled due to the development of the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic, and Nathan decided to wait another year to make his debut.

In just a few weeks he will be ready.
