Vojta Koritensky leaves the Jim Manion IFBB Professional League!

Czech bodybuilder Vojta Koritenský has been a professional of Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League since 2014, when he managed to dominate the Men's Bodybuilding up to 80 kg category at the Olympia Amateur Europe competition held on home soil in Tipsport Arena in Prague.

Between 2015 and 2019, he made seventeen starts, with his best season being the 2016 season, when he won the Europa Dallas Pro, as well as taking part in the most prestigious competition of the division up to 212 pounds, the Olympia 212 Showdown!

Since the surprising split between the International Amateur Federation of the IFBB and Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League in the fall of 2017, it has become harder and harder to compete as most of the competitions held under the banner of Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League are held overseas. This of course brings with it a higher financial burden, as flights to the USA, subsequent relocation from place to place, often also by air, and accommodation cost a considerable amount of money.

This is not helped by the current Covid era, where the possible spread of Covid-19 coronavirus makes it almost impossible to get to the USA!

All of the above aspects were the main driving force behind Vojta's decision to move to the competitive Elite Pro federation, which is a concept of professional competitions organized under the banner of the International IFBB Federation. He should then make his first start in Prague in early October!

As you will hear in the following video, which was filmed by Pavel Vacek in Vojta's Extrifit Gym in Svitavská Street in Hradec Kralove, Vojta likes to compete, and in this federation it should be much easier, due to less traveling and more competitions in Europe.

Vojta is of course aware of the fact that the competition in Elite Pro is not comparable to that in Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League, but competing is his passion and he takes the move as a new motivation!

So let's wish him to enjoy and thrive here as he wishes.
