Regan Grimes put eight times 375lb on the front squat in preparation for the 2022 Arnold Classic!
Canadian professional open division racer Regan Grimes is one of those young racers who could one day become a major face of the sport. Although Regan only finished 15th at the 2021 Olympia, his legendary coach Milos Sarcev believes Grimes could dominate the Olympia in a few years. Even though it may be a stretch for some, this Canadian athlete is therefore doing his best and trying to work as hard as he can.
The organizers of the famous Arnold Classic, to which Regan was invited, noticed this too. At the beginning of March, the youngster will be able to compete with other pros such as Brett Wilkin, Luis Rodriguez, Mohamed Shaaban, Samson Dauda or William Bonac.
KO Squad Pro 2021 - Regan Grimes' second pro triumph

Recently, Regan posted a video on his Instagram of him working out his legs with his trainer Sharchev. The workout was based on 10x10 front squats with different weights. In the first video, Grimes is seen squatting 375 pounds to failure. In the second video, Grimes practices front squats weighing 315 pounds, but does so for a total of 12 reps, which he does to reach the total.
"Front squats 10 sets of 10 reps. The heaviest set was #7 at 375 lbs, I failed at 8 reps (first video) and the 2nd video was set at #6 at 315 lbs! Try 10×10 another day!" wrote Regan on his Instagram
