Cheesecake
Many of you must have a big craving for something good and sweet, but our strict regime doesn't allow us to do that, so here is this treat that is both easy to prepare and won't overwhelm and ground you like heavy cream cakes. If only because most of the visitors to this site are guys, which includes those who don't move as gracefully in the kitchen as they do at the gym, I chose this simple recipe. The recipe is for a basic batter that you can either leave as is, or add nuts, fruit..whatever strikes your fancy. Here we go.
Ingredients:
- 400g of low-fat cottage cheese in a tub
- 4 eggs
- 4 tablespoons of sugar, about 100g ( dieters can substitute sweetener) + 1 vanilla
- 50g of wheat semolina ( the kind your mother used to make porridge)
- 50g butter
- juice of 1 lemon , pinch of salt

Mixall these ingredients together except the butter. I recommend mixing the bulk ingredients first ( sugar, semolina, salt), then add the egg with the juice of the lemon and finally the cottage cheese. Mix everything perfectly until you have a homogeneous mass. After that, heat the butter on a low flame so that it only melts. Let it cool down for a while.

Pour the butter into the mixture and mix thoroughly. If the butter was hot and was poured into the eggs, it might curdle. Therefore, pour the butter in last. The batter should have this consistency:

Take any mould we have (I used a round one) and grease it with butter and dust it with semi coarse flour ( throw the excess flour out of the mould ) only to make a thin film inside the mould. If you have baking paper, just line the mould with this paper. Pour the dough into the mould and put it in an oven preheated to 180°C. Bake for about 35-60min. It is individual for each oven, so you have to check the goodness by taking a dry skewer, sticking it into the pastry and if after pulling out the skewer it is covered with dough, it is not done yet. If the skewer is dry when pulled out of the mixture, it is baked.

After pulling it out, the creation should look like this, further adjustments are up to you, whether you decorate it or pour chocolate, gelatin.... but count on the energy value for more. The values inserted here are only for this basic dough.

Nutritional values for the whole mixture:
| NUTRITIONAL VALUES | WHOLE MEAL | PORTIONS |
| PROTEIN | 83,5 | / |
| CARBOHYDRATES | 164,4 | / |
| FATS | 68,2 | / |
| ENERGY VALUE | 6590kJ | / |
- (I didn't write the values per serving, as how many pieces you cut from this is up to you)

I hope you're salivating. It's delicious!
See you at the next recipe ;)
GOOD LUCK
