What did I eat today? Gastronomic fit adventure of my day

At the moment, the topic "What I ate today" is very popular on social media and very inspiring for many. That's why I decided to film my realistic day on this topic.

In the beginning I didn't know my daily intake, how much protein, carbs, fat and fiber I had, so I started the Calorie Charts app, which taught me to understand food more and also helped me understand my body. Gradually, I found out what works for my body, what doesn't work for me, when it's better for me to eat carbs, when it's better to eat fats and so on.
Each of us is different and also each of us will suit a different eating style. So take the following content as inspiration, you can try my approach and see for yourself.

For breakfast I had oatmeal, which is also ideal as a pre-workout meal. I make my oatmeal with oatmeal, which has a smooth, creamy consistency and is also gluten-free. Oatmeal contains complex carbohydrates, has a low glycemic index and releases energy more slowly - so these carbohydrates help to keep energy levels stable during exercise. To this I add New 100% Whey Protein - Choco Bueno, which is absolutely brilliant in taste, composition and solubility. Next, I added some crunchy fruit and topped the porridge with Nougat Twister, which I've recently fallen in love with. After breakfast, I also have Super Greens Pro, which helps with digestion and I feel light and overall good after drinking this product.

After breakfast I go to the gym where I have a cool coffee which helps me to increase energy, fat burning and increased stamina. In the meantime, I prepare my drink which consists of Pumper, Crea Monohydrate and L-Glutamine 100% fermented. I recommend trying all three of these products!

Cvičení pre workout

After exercise it's important to support muscle recovery, which is why I'm having protein, I'm currently loving the New 100% Whey Protein - mango and vanilla.

Then I went to cook my lunch, I had planned to make chicken, rice and vegetables, I ended up mixing it all together and making risotto. I really like this combination of chicken, rice and vegetables because it's a balanced meal, it has great nutritional value, it's filling, it replenishes the necessary nutrients and I feel great afterwards. When I cook, I usually put Herb Blend in everything, which I absolutely adore. It contains white pepper, oregano, thyme, basil, bear garlic, cumin, and lovage. The food gets a great flavor and smells wonderful.

For an afternoon snack, my favorite is a variety of smoothies. It's simple and nutritious. So I made a smoothie with oatmeal, protein, milk, a little water, a banana, a spoonful of white yogurt and nut butter. I chose Cashew Cream, which gave it a great flavor. Again, I'm trying to provide my body with protein, carbs, fats and fiber.

For dinner, I cooked ground beef with onions, yellow peppers and added a little homemade vegetable sauce made from tomatoes, peppers and zucchini, along with cooked potatoes and tomatoes. After dinner I give my favorite joint food Joint MAX Ultimate Blend Tropical Fruit flavor. If I'm still lacking calories or protein, I have semi-skimmed cottage cheese with protein and some seeds - sunflower most often - for my second dinner. But for this day, I had enough protein and calories, so I skipped the second dinner.

So why give protein before bed?

  1. Protein Synthesis During Sleep - During sleep, a process called protein synthesis is activated as the body tries to repair damaged muscles and build new muscle tissue. Consuming protein before bedtime can provide the body with the necessary nutrients for this regenerative process.
  2. Long periods of time without eating - Providing the body with stores that can be gradually released during the night
  3. Satiety and weight loss support - Protein is known for its ability to slow digestion and keep you feeling full after a meal. If you consume protein before bed, it can reduce feelings of hunger and can help you avoid overeating or reaching for junk food in the evening. This can be especially beneficial if you are trying to lose weight. Every individual is unique and may have individual nutritional needs, so it's a good idea to find out how much protein you should be consuming.

As far as vitamins go, I most often give C, D, Omega3, Multivitamin in the morning, Maca, CoQ10 at noon and Magnesium, Zinc and Mineral Complex in the evening after dinner.
The other vitamins I give occasionally, or when I know I need something to replenish my body.

So let's look together at my summary of what I ate today:
