Coconut water and milk from COCOXIM!
Drinking coconut water has become a trend in recent years, not only in the world, but also in our country. Why is this so and what benefits does coconut water actually bring to athletes? And how to choose the right one?
Rehydration is essential
If you play sports, you know that keeping up with your drinking regime is very important. But drinking several litres of pure water a day may not be easy for everyone. The problem may be, for example, that you find it difficult to keep thinking about topping up your fluids, or you simply don't feel comfortable drinking large amounts of water. Coconut water has the advantage of rehydrating much better and faster than plain water. Plus, it contains minimal amounts of sugar and sodium, unlike energy drinks. Try it during cardio, for example.

Coconut water & sports supplements
Especially during fitness activities, most athletes take dietary supplements whether we are talking about vitamins, but also of course protein, BCAAs and others. The very pleasant sweet taste makes coconut water ideal for mixing in a shaker instead of plain water. Especially proteins, whether unflavoured or flavoured, taste really great in this combination. It is also great in fruit and vegetable shakes or smoothies.
Minerals and other nutrients for a healthy body
Coconut water contains many minerals such asmagnesium, potassium, phosphorus or calcium, which help to provide energy during exercise. People with high blood pressure suffer from potassium deficiency and drinking coconut water regularly helps to reduce it. Research has also shown that the Cytokine in coconut water helps to regulate skin cell growth, and Lauric acid slows aging, balances pH and strengthens connective tissues, leaving skin hydrated and healthy.
Beware of concentrate and untraceable origins
As with all foods, the quality of coconut water is very important - it determines whether it is a drink that merely satisfies your palate or can provide your body with extra health benefits. There are a lot of coconut waters on the market - most of them are made from concentrate and contain a lot of added sugar - although some manufacturers claim that their water contains none. But of course, you can immediately tell from the taste that it is not natural and often leaves a sour or bitter sensation on the tongue when swallowed. The origin of coconut water is also important. Always check that it has a clearly traceable origin, and we don't mean the country of origin but the specific place where it was bottled and where the coconuts grew. Behind the pretty packaging there can often be dubious contents.
Coconut water and its benefits
The coconut water contained in the drink is known for its health benefits. It contains important minerals such as magnesium, potassium, phosphorus or calcium, which help to provide energy during training. Coconut water also boosts immunity. In addition to lauric acid as in coconut milk, it also contains Cytokine, which helps regulate skin cell growth. In Asia, it is also given to pregnant women for nausea.

Enjoy the summer with coconut drinks
I'm sure you know coconut milk for cooking, but have you ever tasted coconut milk as a drink? In our e-shop you will now find a milky coconut drink that tastes great and contains no gluten or animal fats, so it is suitable for coeliacs and vegans. It's also lactose-free, so you can have it without any worries even if you're lactose intolerant.
COCOXIM coconut drink is one of the few on the market that is honestly made from coconut milk and coconut water. It does not contain plain water or any concentrate. Both the coconut water and milk come from coconuts grown on plantations in Vietnam, on a farm located in the Mekong River Valley.
Mixing (not only) with fruit
COCOXIM coconut drink has a natural flavour, so it tastes great both on its own and when you mix in your favourite fruit. You can also try adding coffee or perhaps cinnamon to give your drink a whole new dimension.

Healthy and sweet
You won't find any preservatives, lactose, gluten, cholesterol or any genetic modifications in coconut drink. Coconut milk contains lauric acid, which helps break down fats, boosts immunity, slows aging and balances pH. In addition, it strengthens connective tissues, so the skin stays hydrated and therefore healthy. However, there is a small amount of sugar, due to the taste, so it is not advisable to drink larger amounts if you are on a diet.
