Anabolic window after volume training

I think that 99.99% of the time there will be no difference between using post-workout whey protein alone, protein + oatmeal, protein + palatinose, protein + simple sugars or Gainer in an effort to build muscle mass.

The only difference will be that a certain group of people will risk greater insulin spikes, may have issues in the form of weakness and fat tissue formation when using simple sugars or certain Gainers. For overall muscle growth, it makes no difference at all as long as total daily caloric requirements are met, proper intake of all macronutrients throughout the day, and proper pre-workout and subsequent post-workout meals consisting of quality protein and complex carbohydrates.

This of course does not apply to a bodybuilder preparing for a competition in the peak phase of training. I think post-workout nutrients can only be manipulated when we need to present a specific look at a specific time such as just the final phase of contest preparation or dieting.

CONCLUSION

Don't try to come up with a miracle combination from post-workout supplements and waste your money, but make sure to get the right nutrients throughout the day and invest in quality foods because we don't just grow muscle after training, but every day of the year.
A delicious protein shake on the way home from the gym will do just fine, and if you need to supplement your daily carb intake, add oatmeal or Palatinose.
No need to rush anywhere, the anabolic window lasts for a few hours after your workout.
