Jay Cutler: "I'm on 200 mg tst a week, no reason to lie."
Four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler takes his fans along on his latest "fit for 50" physique transformation journey. During a recent podcast, Cutler talked about his cycle, diet, and plan for transforming his physique in 2023. Even though Jay Cutler no longer competes, he is one of the most visible ambassadors for the sport of bodybuilding. Ever since he retired in 2013, fans have been urging him to make a comeback. However, he left his fans in suspense for days after he was caught posing alongside a fitness influencer named "Lexx Little". A few days after the photo surfaced online, Cutler rejected a potential return to bodybuilding. Although he was in great shape, he said he was transforming his body as part of the Fit for 50 challenge. He even recently teamed up with eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman during a workout and recapped their on-stage rivalry.

Aside from training, Jay has recently spoken openly about his doping use. As part of the current challenge, Jay stressed that he will definitely not be taking Trenbolone and will stick to testosterone replacement therapy only. In an interview in his latest podcast, he talked about his decision to get back in shape and mentioned that he is still taking 200 milligrams of testosterone cypionate per week.
"No, no. I'm on TRT, 200 cypionate a week. I have no reason to lie. I have no reason to lie," Cutler laughs.
Jay reveals to himself that he quit fasted cardio workouts in favor of building more muscle mass.
"You know what I'll tell you, and people love it because they listen to me - I quit fasted cardio. My body looks different because of it. Think about it. I'm exhausted every day and yet I was getting up for a routine and doing cardio fasted. If you don't have enough energy for your muscles, what's the point of doing fasted cardio. I don't even know how much I weigh, I didn't weigh myself."
Then in the interview, Jay looked back on eating more than 140 egg whites a day and he and Milos Sarcev agreed that eggs are the most optimal source of protein for a bodybuilder.
"Eggs are the best source of protein. " says Milos Sarchev.
"Egg whites have the best amino acid profile," says Cutler.
"Yes, but eggs have a high protein efficiency ratio. I did four times 15 egg whites a day, so 60 egg whites a day. I heard you did something similar," shares Sarchev. "How did you do that, you put 140 a day. How could you eat 140 for the love of God?" asked Jay.
In order to maintain his status as one of the best bodybuilders in the world for 12 consecutive years, Cutler ate a staggering amount of egg whites during his career. So how did he do it?
"30 at a time, just 30 egg whites at a time. My plate was huge. It was at that time I was holding 50 grams of carbs, I'm not kidding. Thirty egg whites a sitting, four times," Cutler says. "There's three grams of protein in each one. It was a big egg."

Whether it's diet, cycle or training, Cutler doesn't shy away from any topic and fan curiosity. He hopes to bring his best form since he left the scene a decade ago later this year.
