Q&A:
Kubo tell us briefly who is Jakub Enzl and how did you start "banging and pulling punches" that led you to Czech Power Wars?
Hi, so I'm 21 years old, I'm a personal/online trainer and if you can call it that, a youtuber to boot. I've noticed from the beginning that I'm pretty good at what I do in terms of strength development, so I'm always trying to push my limits and see what my body is capable of and I'm crazy excited and fulfilled by it.
Strength Wars is a huge phenomenon that has captivated masses of people in sports around fitness with its unique show, what do you think of the "wars"?
I really appreciate it when something new comes to the Czech Republic that people enjoy and has class. I've known the wars for a long time, so I'm very happy to be a part of it.
Is there anyone in the Czech Republic that you would like to fight and in what, or if you managed to get into foreign fights, who from abroad would you want as an opponent?
In the Czech Republic I would definitely want to fight Krasinski and relegate him to an anabolic pony by beating me haha. As for disciplines, my strongest is deadlift, but I'm not against other disciplines at all. I'd love to get into the original wars, so I'll try to fight my way in and beat whoever they put up against me.
Your best competitive achievement and what are your ambitions in strength or aesthetic sports?
I don't compete regularly, just from time to time, but my greatest achievement would be the national deadlift championships, where I lifted 250kg at the age of 17 to win my category.
What do you think of today's "fitness", is it more of a trend that might fall away or a coherent style that can shape you for life?
I used to think that the fitness trend would fade away, but it has been around for a few years now and I'm really happy about that, I feel that for a lot of people exercise has become part of their lives, it fulfills them and it's kind of their therapy, whether they do it recreationally or competitively.
How do you feel about doping around strength sports, especially with younger individuals. You're quite young yourself, what's your view on guys who are increasingly reaching for substances that will quickly take them to the "next level" without trying to reach their peak naturally, and don't have the proper experience in developing their body or mind, let alone with chemicals?
Doping belongs to any sport, but only from a certain level and age. A lot of people start early without knowing their body properly or having a perfectly balanced diet, training, dedicating all their time and being conscientious about their health.

A lot of people are mainly concerned with physical physique, focusing on performance, results, form. How do you perceive the development and adjustment of the mental side ("head"), do you also dedicate yourself to training the mind, or do you not consider it as an important thing?
As they say "strong mind means strong body", it goes hand in hand. A person who is at the highest level physically, but doesn't have his mental peace in order and can't find his zen, focus, act conscientiously, reasonably, it's useless to him. The psyche plays a huge role in terms of both physical and personality development, one should always try to develop both sides.
People who belong, like you, to advanced exercisers and want to go in a similar direction, start lifting heavy weights and aim mainly for "strength" development. What do you think they should especially not neglect and what should they watch out for? We recently discussed that it's very important for you, especially not to get injured, so how do you approach this?
They should definitely focus on health. The most key thing is not to get injured, usually the person who doesn't get injured will make it the furthest, because an injury can put a person out of commission for weeks if not months and even long after that, you have a block in your head with any movement where the injury was. So I'd recommend not neglecting stretching, body centeredness, plenty of recovery and most importantly LISTEN to your body - always.
Are you more in the camp of people who are skeptical of supplements and deal mainly with diet and movement, or are you more in the camp of people who think there is a supplement for "every" problem :)
Diet and training will always be higher on the priority list than supplements, but I still recommend taking certain supplements because they can be crucial in terms of body development.
What are your most TOP supplements that you can't imagine a pumped up workout or strength competition without?
For me personally, vitamins, minerals and omegas will always be number one, and besides that, definitely protein, creatine and a kicker.
Finally, Kuba, tell us why people should follow you and what is the purpose of your work?
I'm trying to bring something new and high quality to the Czech and Slovak scene with my cameraman Petr Zoubek, on the channel you can find advice and tips for beginners and advanced exercisers, so I'll be glad if you take a look. I believe you will find some new information, and most importantly - you have it all for free hah.
Finally, I want to thank GymBeam for allowing me to continue to develop my youtube channel and continue doing what I enjoy.
