Grimes, Walker, Rodriguez and Hollingshead in preparation for Mr. Olympia 2021
Regan Grimes, Nick Waker, Luis Rodriguez and James Hollingshead are among the representatives of the Open division who, like Hadi Choopan, managed to qualify for this year's Mr. Olympia!
Regan Grimes
The Canadian pro will be making his second appearance at Mr. Olympia 2021, having competed at this spectacular event last year, finishing 15th.
At the time, it was clear that if he wanted to think about placing higher his goal had to be to work his way up to the next volumes.
Given that he had already qualified for this year's Olympia at the Wings of Strength Romania Muscle Fest Pro 2020 in November, he had plenty of time to meet his stated goal.
Whether he has succeeded or not we will of course find out only on 10 October, when the final competition of Mr. Olympia 2021 is scheduled. However, we can already judge his form and efforts through the attached photos.
Nick Walker
The American professional bodybuilder secured his first ever appearance at Mr. Olympia by triumphing at the New York Pro 2021 in May!
Before that, however, he will stand on the stage of another prestigious competition, the Arnold Classic 2021, to which he has received an invitation from the organizers. He is preparing for this competition with really big ambitions, because his goal is to win!
You can see his current form in today's article.
Luis Rodriguez
The bodybuilder, who has his roots in the Dominican Republic, like Grimes above, will compete in both the 2021 North American Arnold Classic and the 2021 Mr. Olympia, where he qualified thanks to his debut win at the 2021 Indy Pro.
The photos attached below will show you its current phase.
James Hollingshead
The British rider scored two triumphs at the end of last year's competition season, at the Europa Pro 2020 and the British Grand Prix 2020.
He qualified for Mr. Olympia 2020 with the first one, but did not participate in the competition due to restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic. The second triumph qualified him for this year's Mr. Olympia, which he does not want to miss under any circumstances, even though restrictions are still in place that limit entry to the USA to those who have spent the last 14 days in the Schengen area, Great Britain, Ireland, Brazil or South Africa!
James will therefore be moving on to Dubai in a few days time, from where he will travel to the USA after a fortnight.
Below you can watch a video that was made during his free routine training under the supervision of Jon Lofthouse, who competes in the Classic Physique category in Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League.
