Nick Walker reveals what would make him quit and names three athletes from his past he would like to compete against

Nick Walker interrupted his training for the 2024 Olympics for a moment to answer some burning questions from fans. In a Q&A on Instagram, he talked about the only two ways he could quit bodybuilding and named three athletes from his past he'd like to compete with.
As one of the biggest names in the Men's Open division, Walker continues to attract attention for his muscle bulk, density and pro-level conditioning. Fans expected him to use those weapons on the podium at last year's Olympia until a catastrophic hamstring and calf tear prevented him from participating. Instead, he watched Derek Lunsford become the first two-time winner of Mr. Olympia.
Despite the setback, Walker came back to triumph at the 2024 New York Pro and qualify for the biggest show of the year. Preparations have reached a new level of intensity and Walker has paused for a while and now talks about the great bodybuilding fights that fans would love to see.
Nick Walker says that if he wins Mr. Olympia, he will definitely not retire and then names 3 bodybuilders from the past that he would love to compete against
According to Walker, he would only quit bodybuilding if he lacked the desire to compete or if his body could no longer handle the demands of the sport.
"No, I would continue until I no longer wanted to compete. There are only two ways to quit: when I no longer have the desire or when my body says no, champ, not this year. But of course I want to win as many O's, as many Arnolds as possible and just keep going."
"As long as I'm enjoying it and I keep pushing myself, I have goals and I'm going to reach them."
Walker's list of former bodybuilders he'd like to compete with
- Dorian Yates
- Mike Mentzer
- Guy Cisternino
In addition to Jay Cutler, Walker would like to see how he fares compared to Dorian Yates and Mike Mentzer, two bodybuilders known for their challenging training styles. He also named Guy Cisternino, a close friend and retired 212 Bodybuilding talent.
"Dorian Yates, Mike Mentzer and probably Guy Cisternino. He's old, but this dude knows how to push people,"
Walker said via Instagram stories.
