Derek Lunsford, Hadi Choopan, Nick Walker and more 15 weeks before Mr. Olympia 2024

We're still 15 weeks away from this year's Mr. Olympia, the queen of professional bodybuilding. For some, that's a lot, for others it's not enough.

Either way, there's never enough time for those who plan to compete. Any break at this point may mean that another fighter who has been preparing without a break will be better prepared. Even if only by a little, but as we have seen many times before, sometimes it is really only the details that make the difference in such a spectacular competition.

At the moment, the following fighters are nominated for this year's event:

• Hadi Choopan - 2nd place at Mr. Olympia 2022
• Samson Dauda - 3rd place at Mr. Olympia 2023
• Theo Leguerrier - Japan Pro 2023 winner
• Rafael Brandao - winner of Arnold Classic Brazil 2024
• Martin Fitzwater USA Detroit Pro 2024
• Nick Walker - Winner of New York Pro 2024
• Tonio Burton - California Pro 2024 winner
• Akim Williams - Toronto Pro Supershow 2024 winner
• William Bonac Netherlands Empro Classic 2024
• Behrooz Tabani - winner of Flex Weekend Pro 2024

They all qualified for this year's Olympia during this season or at the end of the previous one. But we must not forget about the other competitors, namely the winners of the previous years of Mr. Olympia, who have their qualification secured for life.

At the moment, it is certain that Brandon Curry, who holds the Mr. Olympia title from 2019, is also planning to take the podium in October.

However, we're still just over halfway through the competitions that lead the way to Olympia 2024, so the list of the aforementioned fighters is sure to grow with some more names.
