Olympia Brand President Dan Solomon honored with the Key to the City of Las Vegas at the 60th Anniversary Celebration of Mr. Olympia

The Mr. Olympia brand is growing year by year and fans are taking more and more notice, especially in Sin City. In a recent video, President Dan Solomon revealed that he and the company received a key from the city of Las Vegas in honor of the 60th anniversary of Mr. Olympia. Dan Solomon has already reached out to Derek Lunsford, the reigning Mr. Olympia titleholder, and promised that when the annual event returns, it will have a historic and state-of-the-art production. Fans will welcome the world's best bodybuilders from October 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the show returns after last year's blockbuster in Orlando, Florida.

In addition to the 11 IFBB Pro League bodybuilding divisions that will light up the stage, the Mr. Olympia weekend will feature several athletic competitions covering a variety of sports. With a staggering $400,000 set aside for the Men's Open winners, the competition changes lives each year with thrilling bodybuilding action.

Dan Solomon was overjoyed to receive the key to Las Vegas. He said it's a huge win for everyone in the bodybuilding community.

"We wake up every day with enthusiasm and are fully committed to this lifestyle and the development of the sport. Each one of us contributes his or her bit towards achieving common goals. The recent victory is a huge achievement for all of us and fills us with pride. The entertainment capital of the world has taken notice of our efforts and decided to recognize us. Dan Solomon shares. Event announcer Bob Cicherillo believes that the award was long overdue and that Las Vegas has served as the home of Mr. Olympia for several years.

"Listen, it's the way it should be because Olympia has been mostly in Vegas for the last 20 years except for a few in-between times there. Vegas is simply the cradle of Mr. Olympia. We've been talking about it for many, many years, that when you come to Vegas, it's Olympia time, you can feel it, you can smell it in the air, and fitness enthusiasts from all over the world flock to Vegas."

Cicherillo said the organization plans to add another layer of excitement to the Mr. Olympia show. He mentioned that this year's Olympia will be a "hybrid" of a bodybuilding event and entertainment.

"It's the capital of entertainment and entertainment is something we are trying to enhance because bodybuilding by its very nature, a bodybuilding contest is not the most exciting sport in the world but we can make it exciting.
