"Exercise not only gives you muscles but also beauty," boasts Ann Mckenzie
Ann McKenzie is not only a mother of four, but also a successful fitness competitor. Her powerfully developed physique surpasses most other exercisers, including men who visit fitness centers. For some, her muscular physique may be too intense, but for herself, it is a source of pride. Through constant effort and muscle building, she has gained a huge dose of self-confidence, which she reportedly often hears from men who are trying to flirt.
"When I was a kid, I never thought I would become a professional bodybuilder. But here I am now and I couldn't be happier."
Said McKenzie in an interview for the Muscle & Health podcast, where she talked about her beginnings in weightlifting and how her life has changed with her new lifestyle.

Her journey began after the birth of her fourth child, when she was unable to shed the excess pounds. She decided to stop overeating junk food and sweets and started paying attention to her diet. She bought a gym membership and this decision changed her life. Even though it seemed like an obligation at first, she soon fell in love with exercise and started enjoying her new way of life. And the first results began to show.
After a few years, she dared to try competing in bodybuilding. This change not only affected her body, but also her view of herself. Suddenly she felt full of confidence and complete contentment, which was a magnet for men.
"The biggest change I felt was in the interest of men. I used to be the one sitting on the couch at home, and now everyone is trying to flirt with me at the gym. I always thought men preferred women with mature and developed looks, and suddenly I have become one of them," she shares her joy.
She also points out that there isn't a man in her gym who hasn't tried to flirt with her.
"My wives envy me. Yes, I am a fitness trainer and bodybuilder, but above all I am a mother, and men who show interest in me should realise that. If they are married, I automatically give them my hands off. Honesty should be a priority," stresses McKenzie.
She has been through difficult times, including losing her husband who left her for another woman. She now finds herself in the position of being an attractive woman, but she doesn't want to hurt other women by taking her husband away from her. "Anyone who tries to get me must be honest. That's the only way to build a long-term relationship," she explains.

McKenzie tries to pass on her experience with weight loss and exercise, motivating women who are starting or want to start going to fitness centres. "Exercise not only gives you muscles, but also confidence and beauty. It's never too late to start. If you're doing exercise long-term or professionally, it's also crucial to pay attention to proper diet, which many people underestimate," she stresses.
That's why she motivates her followers on social media and shares before and after photos to show how she has changed through exercise.
"When I was in my twenties, I was scared to gain weight. I wanted muscles but the fear of gaining weight prevented me. Once I overcame that obstacle, I started to see results. It's been a long journey, but it's been worth it," she concludes.
