Vitamin D3 is naturally produced by the body when exposed to direct sunlight. However, the amount of vitamin D3 synthesized depends on many factors (e.g. season, location, time, age, amount of smog in the air, skin type).

Vitamin D3 is also found naturally in the diet, in the form of vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) and vitamin D3 (colecalciferol), but can also be taken as a dietary supplement. Vitamin D contributes to normal muscle and immune system function, the maintenance of normal bone and teeth, and the normal absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus.

Recommended Dosage:

• Take 1 capsule daily with meals, with sufficient fluids
