One step closer to the goal. . Lots of ups and downs this week but I’m proud of myself. Whether it’s resilience or just plain old stubbornness, I proved this week that great things can happen if you just keep picking yourself up and moving forward. I want thank all of the volunteers and staff of the @crossfitgames who work tirelessly to make us look good (special shout out to the medical team). Thanks to all of my sponsors for supporting me this year and to my family and friends for tolerating me both during the games and the months leading up. @mich_letendre and @mworkunhill both deserve medals for dealing with me. I want to send a special thank you to all of the crossfit fans in the community. Thank you for sticking with me and cheering me on no matter what. I really felt the love this year and there are times when I needed that boost more than you know. Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed on a truly great accomplishment. It was a great test @thedavecastro , and you better believe I’ll be back for more. #neverquit #podium #crossfitgames #fitness #crossfit #onemorestep #reebok #reebokcanada #dekacomp #foodspring #wodproofapp #drinkmetta #proenergynutrition @reebok @reebokcanada @foodspring_athletics @dekacomp @wodproofapp @proenergynutrition @drinkmetta

He recently issued a challenge on his instagram that is definitely worth a try! You will need a classic weightlifting axle (20kg),two 15kgdiscs and the so-called"Fat gripz"

If you don't have a "Fat gripz" to attach to the axle, try the Axle bar. And what is the challenge?

You do 1 repetition with the "Fat Gripz" or Axle bar where you have 50kg, then hold the top position for 1 second. Then you do 2 reps and hold the upright position for 2 seconds. Your goal is to get as far as you can, at least 10 rounds, without dropping the axel! If anyone still doesn't understand how the challenge works, check out the video below. We wish you a very strong grip and let us know afterwards how you did!
