Slavoj Bednar, Iain Valliere and Mohamed Shaaban before Tampa Pro 2021
Author: This past Saturday in Tampa, Florida, another Wings of Strength Tampa Pro competition was held for bodybuilders competing in Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League.
Today we take a look at a trio of representatives from the Open category to see what they looked like a few hours before the actual contest.
Slavoj Bednar
We can't start any other way than with our fighter Slavoj Bednar. He will be making his second start of the current season in Tampa, having made his first one the weekend before last at Wings of Strength Chicago 2021, where this Extrifit team member was in the form of his life, earning a very respectable 10th place from the judges!
Below you can see how Slavoj was doing with his form about 2 days before the start of the Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2021, which, like the Chicago Pro 2021, is in Florida.
Iain Valliere
Canadian Iain Valliere enters this season's Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2021, and he's considered the biggest favorite to triumph!
He is favored for several reasons. Firstly, he scored a great 2nd place finish at the previous edition of this event last season, then he walked away as the winner of the prestigious New York Pro 2020, and last but not least, he took a great 7th place at Mr. Olympia 2020!
Another reason to favour him is the fact that, according to his own words, he has improved again since last season!
He also offers a look at his form, about a week before he takes the stage.
Mohamed Shaaban
One week away from the competition in Tampa at the time of taking the photos attached below, Mohamed Shaaban was also another heavyweight on the podium.
This will be the fourth start of the year for the Egyptian fighter, having competed at the California Pro 2021 (2nd place), Wings of Strength Puerto Rico Pro 2021 (2nd place), and Wings of Strength Chicago 2021 (4th place).
Although Mohamed is currently ranked 3rd in the qualifying rankings for Mr. Olympia 2021, he doesn't want to leave anything to chance and intends to compete until his position is unshakeable!
