Slavoj Bednar and Igor Illés 5 weeks before Europa Pro 2020

The busiest, and certainly one of the most exciting events of this year's coronavirus-marred season is coming up! On October 11, we will have the Europa Pro Championships, the only IFBB Jim Manion Professional League competition from which European competitors will be able to qualify for this year's Olympia Weekend!

As the Olympia Weekend 2020, which will take place from 16-20 December, can only be qualified until 18 October, anyone who hasn't packed it in yet and has the desire to qualify for this event will be competing in Alicante, Spain!

And as you already know from us, since European bodybuilders have not been able to compete for qualification for the Olympia so far, as many European competitions have been cancelled and it is impossible to travel to the USA, the management of Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League has decided to make an extraordinary and unique adjustment to the rules. At the 2020 Europa Pro Championships, there will be three promotion spots to fight for in both the Open and the 212lb division!

Czech fighters Slavoj Bednar, Milan Šádek and Lukáš Osladil will be among the many fighting for these spots, with Slovak giant Igor Illés fighting alongside them!

Below we will take a look at the current form of the two aforementioned fighters, namely the Czech fighter Slavoj Bednar and the Slovak Igor Illés.

Slavoj Bednář, who has been one of the main faces of Extrifit for many years, has been training under the guidance of the renowned and sought-after Tomáš Bures. It was in front of his eyes that the form check took place 5 weeks before the competition, at a weight of 122 kg.
