In preparation, Ales Bursa jumped to the championship in deadlift, where he pulled 330 kg!

The well-known Czech bodybuilder Ales Bursa, who recently stepped on the podium after a long break at the GRAND PRIX PEPA OPAVA 2022, where he placed third. However, he was not very satisfied with his placing, but he is not losing hope and is preparing for the next professional competitions, where he wants to show himself in even better shape. Ales is known for not being afraid to pull big weights even in his final preparation. His max weights for basic exercises like squat, bench and deadlift are incredible for his weight of 100 kilograms, so it's no wonder he has gone to competitions other than bodybuilding.

As we have already mentioned, Ales is preparing for the IFBB MR AND MRS WORLD IFBB ELITE PRO QUALIFIER competition in the United Arab Emirates, but since his friend got injured during a heavy squat in preparation for the Czech National Deadlift Championships, he decided to fill in for him and pull some serious bombs, as he often says. He was competing in the men's under 100kg category, where he had to drop a bit. Ales's current weight is something like 101 kg and to fit in the limit he had to take an ice shower in the morning and a few laps in the castle garden. He made the weight and weighed 99.95 kg, which is borderline, but that counts too.

On his first attempt, he chose a weight of 300 kg, which he normally lifts during his back training. Then he chose a weight of 320 kg, which he also lifted without any problem, and on the third attempt he put a great 330 kg! With this performance Ales became the Czech champion in the men's deadlift up to 100 kg. Do you know any bodybuilder who runs a week before a competition to pull such a weight and get the first place? We don't remember anyone from our fitness scene, because it is really unusual to alternate bodybuilding and strength competitions within three weeks. Below you can see how he easily lifted the aforementioned 330 kg!
