Discussion about abstract principles of training methodology in fitness with Aleš Bursa
In today's interview we welcome Aleš Bursa, who has been a professional bodybuilder for many years and has a very interesting view on exercise and everything related to it. That's why we took advantage of this and discussed with him some interesting topics that are also challenging to understand, but hopefully you will find it all clear in the interview. We have fun talking about abstract principles of training methodology in fitness. We will discuss in detail what an ideal training should look like, what to pay attention to and also what Ales took away from the seminar with the world famous Tom Platz.

Before you listen to the interview you can learn something about Ales. Here he briefly describes his person.
I have been an athlete and a scholar all my life. I first studied music and aesthetic related disciplines across music theory, music history and art history at the Prague Conservatory and then at the Academy of Performing Arts. I also studied general mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University. I first took coaching courses at the Pavel Provázek coaching school in Prague and later at the then named Fitness Industry Education institution in Manchester, England. I started my coaching practice officially in 2011 in Prague (after 7 years in Fitness). Then I worked in the aforementioned Manchester, where I also expanded my certifications to other coaching specializations such as working with the population with limited health conditions. I then worked in Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) in a very specialized and exclusive Fitness Center. After returning to the country, I started working classically in Fitness Centers and during that time I worked my way up to the professional division in bodybuilding. Over the last few years I have also developed into a social media influencer and my roles have expanded to include educational and motivational. I create training and informational videos, make various guest appearances and occasionally host some Fitness competitions.
In my work I focus on an educational and motivational approach, tuning into the frequency of the individual Human and helping to define realistic goals and design strategies to achieve them. I teach all levels of Practitioners from the absolute beginner to the most advanced. With each individual Human, I am personally inspired by their personal progress for my own efforts. I realize that we live in a world with too much information overload, and my mission is to help People in our field to organize and supplement this information space for the best possible understanding. My goal is to guide People to think and act as independently and effectively as possible. I call it building mental tools. At the same time, I strive to be the best psychologist I can be and also to be an example.
