Hunter Labrada, Kamal Elgargni and more 6 weeks before Olympia Weekend 2020
Hunter Labrada, Kamal Elgargni, Shaun Clarida, and George Peterson are among the few fighters who made it to this year's Olympia Weekend, the most watched and prestigious weekend of any pro season!
As we all know, this year has been marked by the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic, not only in bodybuilding, which has taken its toll. Many competitions were cancelled, others were postponed, others changed venue and date, not to mention that for many of the competitions that eventually took place, some of the fighters had their doors closed due to the restrictions imposed by the organizing countries.
This affected the Europeans the most, who essentially had only one chance to qualify for this year's Olympia Weekend, and that was by competing in the 2020 Europa Pro Championships. At the end of the day, there were 3 spots up for grabs in each category. As we already know, one of the qualifiers was our Lukáš Osladil!
When we mentioned in the beginning of the article that some events have changed their location and date, we were referring, among others, to this year's Olympia Weekend, which has moved from the traditional September date to the very end of the year, i.e. to December! Instead of the Orleans Arena, the venue will be the Planet Hollywood hotel resort and casino, also located in Las Vegas!
Below we offer you the current forms of several fighters who will be presenting at the aforementioned feast of professional bodybuilding, both in the Open division, i.e. on the stage of the Mr. Olympia competition, and in the division up to 212 pounds, i.e. on the stage of the Olympia 212 Showdown competition.
Hunter Labrada
The son of two-time Mr. Olympia silver medalist from 1989 and 1990, Lee Labrada, shows us his form 6 weeks before his debut at Mr. Olympia.
He earned the right to participate in the Olympia Weekend on August 1, when he dominated the Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2020 without the slightest hesitation in his debut start among the elite!
Kamal Elgargni
The winner of last year's Olympia 212 Showdown is already in very good shape, leaving no one in doubt that he is going for his second title in a row!
Will he replace James "Flex" Lewis, the seven-time winner of this event, who was supposed to compete in the Open category at this year's Mr. Olympia but postponed his entry? Well, let's be surprised.

Shaun Clarida
Shaun Clarida, last year's third man, is not in bad form 6 weeks before the competition! One of the smallest and lightest professionals of today, he is simply good with form and he must definitely be counted on for the top positions too!
George Peterson
George Peterson made his first, but very successful start among bodybuilders at the same competition as Hunter Labrada, the Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2020, in the 212lb division. The former competitor in the Physique category dominated here with ease!
He too boasts some very decent form at the moment, and will surely also be looking to have a say in the battle for the top spots!
