Honza Krasinský - Unmissable giant with "horse head"
Honza Krasinský is a matador when it comes to wars and fights, not that he has been doing it for so long, but he has "rolled" and fought so much in the biggest show thanks to the league last year that we will hardly find a better and more experienced fighter who would dazzle with the 2nd place and almost all the fights he won. Only 1 single opponent in the wars was always better than Honza and that was Faceless (the undefeated Polish Nightmare in a mask). But this year they haven't faced each other yet, so who knows who will have the last word in the end :). Last year when I was choosing and nominating people from the Czech Republic to join the year-long battle for the title of 1st Strength Wars champion, Honza was the obvious choice. Hopefully you will understand from the interview below why Honza, with his attitude and demeanor, has captivated not only me but "hundreds of thousands" of Strength Wars followers around the world. Just for myself, I will add that between the time I met Honza (2015) and today, not so much has changed, he speaks English just a little better and he is still the same crazy guy who doesn't spoil any fun and doesn't shy away from any challenge.

Enjoy today's interview with Honza Krasinsky, the most successful Strength Wars warrior for the Czech Republic.
Q&A:
Hanz, how does a skinny kid from Tachov become the most watched icon of the Czech Fitness World?
Before I start to spawn some horseshit I want to say hello and thank you to all of you who follow me... Now for the question which is pretty sneaky ! I myself don't understand how it happened, in 5 years I gained about 35-40 kilos, maxed up 200 kilos, quit my job, removed people from my life who told me something was wrong and suddenly it's right !!! I live for the sport and people around me see it !!!
Strength Wars as a World phenomenon with strength sports and Czech wars, what is your role and is there anyone you will or want to compete with?
Being a Strength Wars finalist makes me a big target on the back of everyone in CR and SK. Challenges are flying at me from all sides and everyone would love to take my scalp and that's one thing I can say. Czech wars can only have one king.
Can you describe where you are going and what is your current goal, people know you as a "physicist", strongman, triathlete, fighter, anabolic horse, so where are these steps leading you?
When I started training I never thought how far it could go and goals that once seemed unrealistic are now humbled . What I mean by that is my goals are changing, shifting and I want to be comprehensive and prove that you can take your success in multiple industries at once
Can you tell us about your best performances, and what achievement in sport do you value the most?
I most appreciate the war with Mates Cheese, where I was the only one in the whole league to complete a parcour and tow a truck, because even Faceless was too small for that !!! Otherwise, anyone who follows me knows my performance.
- 320kg deadlift ( static monster ), 310kg deadlift no belt
- 300kg squat no belt
- Lying press 10x 80kg one-arm deadlifts (15x 70kg one-arm deadlifts)
I'll do some strongman disciplines, interspersed with Crossfit here and there and when I'm bored I'll run to climb some hurdles at the Predator race.
I know about you, before you permanently visited the gym, you were into Thai-boxing, cycling and other things, why fitness and heavy rance?
Bicross and Fourcross was a beautiful sport, but after my injury I was scared and it didn't make sense anymore, then I slapped myself at WOWka for a while, and because every dude wanted to punch me because I had a provocative face and I guess 70 kilos :D so I started Thai boxing, when I broke 3 toes at 19-20 I could only practice top and I stayed with it !! it filled me up more than all those sports before.
What do you think about today's fitness scene and the trend of working out in the gym, is it an equivalent sport to e.g. hockey? Is there anything that bothers you, bothers you or would you like to change here?
Fitness and hockey can't be compared... hockey is a team sport, but fitness ? it seems to me that it supports a few individuals and the rest are envious of the shit on their shoes. If I were to write down everything that bothers me and what I would like to change, we'll be here in another week. What bothers me the most is that if I were 20 years old now and went on YouTube and watched videos from the Czech fitness scene, instead of motivation I would subscribe to World of Warcraft for 5 years ahead !!! It's sad, but the more testosterone is available, the more estrogen I feel from guys :) So let's buy crushers and go squatting with a towel in a multipress.
How do you feel about developing and setting up your psyche to be exposed to a lot of physical stress, do you also dedicate yourself to developing your "spirit" or do you have a "life hack" that you would recommend people do that you see a purpose in and isn't completely standard?
Your spirit and your head is the most important thing you have, it is also your biggest blocker in what you want to accomplish. The human body is smarter and stronger than the brain and you have to learn to work with it as much as possible. If you want to figure out how to adjust your head, you'll have to come here and get my view of the world.
Honza you are one of the biggest giants I know, you are just under 2 meters tall, 120 kg and you are not even 30 :) You have a lot of fans, if you met with a wish "I want to be like you, big and strong" what would you say to the guy and would he meet with a recommendation from you?
Thank you very much I appreciate it. Today's bodybuilding is like the movie The Hobbit where there was a fart with big feet. Tall people have completely disappeared from the sport which is a shame, plus I could never imagine training without weights and basic exercises. I think it's a mistake to want to be like somebody, so you all have to be even better !
Training focus and strength development, what are the keys what to stick to and is it necessary to look for a coach for "strength development" or is it enough to know the execution of basic exercises and to work on them, so to add only kilos? Have you ever found a trainer or are you a self-made man?
Personally, I was very lucky, I met Filip when he was working harder than pissing and thanks to him I met Kačka, who taught me everything. The most important thing for strength development is the technique of exercises, recovery and functionality of the body. Without technique and mobility you get to a certain number and you get stuck there and your ego eats you up from the inside....
Supplements are a big topic, it's almost laughable at times how much emphasis is placed on them or conversely how they are vilified. How do you feel about supplements and the need to take them, which ones do you use most often or are they key for you?
Supplements it's an eternal topic... I use vitamins, minerals, protein and a pump kicker !!!! It's weird that I still live without bcaa and glutamine with creatine. The basics are diet and supplements are your reward, but if you're a pervert and don't know what to do with the money it's there per hundreds, thousands....
Hanzi why are you working in Pilsen and how did your relationship with Filip Grznar and Pavel Beran influence you, you started alongside them, but we know that Katka Kyptová also plays a strong role, can you comment on that please?
I'm from Tachov and I didn't want to suck my parents dry so I moved to Pilsen which is a great city in a great location, I'm close to everywhere!
- Filip influenced me a lot and taught me a lot... he introduced me to Kačka and what to say thanks to him I got into the subconscious and started my career which I will never forget !!!
- Katya gave me everything, she taught me how to train, how to eat, I had the best training with her. She also showed me different corners of the Czech scene and thanks to her I met xxxxxx people. She taught me not to shit myself and to go to extremes and we both love that.
We can say that you were one of the few people who made it abroad (sponsor, videos, fibo) and it was thanks to the wars and incredible fights, connected with your look and self-presentation, which is just unmissable "I goodfeel", can you say something about that?
It's been a huge experience for me to operate and have a fan base beyond our little fitness pond. I've learned on FIB that it doesn't matter if you're an MR. Olympia or a bikini with a nice ass. It's all about the kind of person you are, how you affect people and that's what makes you successful ! I would like people in the Czech Republic to understand this :) but maybe it's just my view of Hodor, who knows !
Honza last question, why should people follow you and listen to you?
As one of the few people I am not afraid of what someone else thinks of me, I don't fit into any federation so I can speak honestly about everything. I'm not going to follow some puppets who lie just so it doesn't hurt their career ! I can do anything I want and I'll say what I think and that's why I'm being watched.
