This is disgusting! Russian Popeye showed "deflated" biceps after drastic surgery. A sight only for strong stomachs
Kirill Tereshin, known in the internet world as the "Synthol Kid" or "Russian Popeye the Sailor", has once again found himself under the knife of surgeons. In a recent statement on social media, he revealed that he had undergone yet another operation to drain his infamous biceps. For now, he seems to have escaped the worst-case scenario - bilateral amputation of his arms.
Another surgery to save the "bazookas"
Tereshin, who became famous for injecting dangerous synthol into his muscles, shared a series of Instagram posts on January 28, 2026, showing fans the current state of his arms.
In the video, which showed him in a warm climate (as he stated, it was over 30 degrees), he confirmed:
Although he has hinted in the past that he was in real danger of having both arms amputated, the latest reports suggest that the drastic move has been shelved for now. The procedure focused on draining fluid from his biceps, which, while relieving, left significant scarring.

The history of health gambling
Tereshin's story is a long-running saga full of warnings. Although he is not a professional bodybuilder, his desire for monstrous arms led him to use synthol and other substances that do not belong in muscle.
Back in 2021, he survived a life-saving surgery in which doctors had to remove hardened oil and dead muscle tissue from his arms. Tereshin admitted fearing for his life at the time, yet continued his controversial lifestyle. In addition to his arms, he had fillers injected into his face to achieve the appearance of an "alien", which he considers the most powerful race.
The dark side of synthol
The case of Kirill Tereshin reopens the debate about the dangers of substances designed to artificially enlarge muscles (site enhancement oils). Bodybuilding legends like Milos Sarcev or Flex Wheeler publicly regret having used these substances during their careers.
The consequences can be fatal. Recently, the fitness world was hit by news of the death of Andrea Lorini (48), known as "The Giant", who was speculated to have health problems associated with such substances. A similar fate befell "Brazilian Pope" Arlindo de Souza, who died at the age of 51.
Kirill Tereshin is not yet talking about any further planned surgeries and is concentrating on recovering from his last surgery. But his story remains a vivid warning against extreme body modifications regardless of health.
