The gamble with life continues: the Russian Popeye's tissue is decaying, but he firmly refuses to have his arm amputated!

In our earlier article, we reported on the dramatic condition of Kirill Tereshina, known as "Russian Popeye the Sailor" or "Bazooka Arms", who was facing amputation of both arms due to extensive poisoning and tissue necrosis after years of injecting Vaseline into his muscles. While doctors sound the alarm and warn of total body failure, Tereshin shocks the public with his statements from his hospital bed - he refuses surgery and claims his condition will improve.

The health horror continues. Twenty-seven-year-old Kirill Tereshin, who became infamous for his giant biceps "inflated" with a homemade mixture of oil and Vaseline, is again in critical condition. Although he had earlier undergone several surgeries in which litres of the toxic substance were removed from his arms, the infection and tissue damage proved irreversible.

Doctors have refused to help him, and now he is at risk of blood poisoning.

The condition of his arm is rapidly deteriorating. Russian doctors who tried to save his arm recently confirmed that the tissues in his arm are not responding to conventional treatment. An originally planned skin transplant, which was supposed to be the last hope of saving the limb, was ruled out after evaluating extremely poor test results. According to medical reports, Tereshin has massive damage in his arm that threatens to spread infection throughout his body and septic shock. Thus, amputation becomes the only option to save his life.

While this drastic step would save Kirill's life, it would cost him his "famous" arm. Experts point out that it is a race against time and without surgery, the whole body risks collapse.

Popeye: "I'll get better."

Despite the fact that Tereshin is hospitalized and the whole case is being covered in the Russian media, the influencer is taking a surprisingly light-hearted approach to the situation. He has been sharing videos and photos on his social media accounts from the hospital, where his affected arm is bandaged.

Although reports about his condition speak clearly, Tereshin publicly denies the need for amputation. In his statements, he suggests that his condition will improve and that he simply refuses a procedure that would deprive him of the symbol of his internet fame. This gamble with health and life is incomprehensible to many, especially in light of the medical warnings.

Only time will tell whether Tereshin will submit in time to a procedure that will take his arm but save his life, or whether he will decide to risk his life to preserve his image. Every day of delay, however, increases the risk of fatal consequences. Kirill Tereshin thus remains a vivid, and unfortunately very cautionary, illustration of how far the pursuit of popularity and unprofessional intervention in one's own body can lead.
