Horrible end of Russian Popeye: Doctors consider amputation of both arms!
Kirill Tereshin, known to the internet world as "Russian Popeye" or "Synthol Kid", is facing a frightening health condition. According to the latest reports from Russia, he is battling a severe infection and doctors are considering having to amputate both of his arms to save his life.
The story of Kirill Tereshin is a cautionary example of how far the obsession with appearance and the desire for quick results can go. Tereshin became famous for his unnaturally inflated biceps, which he achieved not by exercise but by injecting an oil called Synthol. Now, at the end of November 2025, it seems he will pay the ultimate price for his risky game.
Infection and the threat of amputation
According to available information, Tereshin's condition has deteriorated dramatically. Doctors warn that the time to stabilize his condition is running out. Kirill would need a series of skin transplants to save his arms, but this procedure is not possible while a massive infection is ongoing in his body.
Experts, including vascular and plastic surgeons, fear that the safest option for the twenty-nine-year-old will ultimately be to amputate both upper limbs. This is because the tissue in his arms has been damaged by a toxic substance for a long time, leading to repeated inflammation and necrosis.
These are not the first problems
Tereshin has been injecting Synthol into his muscles since 2017. Back in 2018, he publicly expressed fears for his life when the situation got out of control. In 2021, he underwent life-saving surgery in which doctors removed some of the hardened oil and dead muscle tissue. But even that didn't seem to stop him.
In addition to his arms, Tereshin has recently focused on facial modifications, undergoing so-called "alien injections" because - as he claims - he believes in the existence of UFOs and wants to get closer to aliens.
Tereshin denies the reports
Despite serious warnings from doctors, Kirill Tereshin tries to downplay the situation on social media. In a statement on YouTube, he said:
"Everything is fine with me, the tests turned out very well. My arms are ready for a skin transplant, which will take place this week. This is just false information. Before you believe the internet, find out the truth and don't listen to fairy tales."
Only the next few days will tell if this is reality or just an attempt to save face in front of fans. What is certain, however, is that the use of substances like Synthol, which merely "inflate" muscles without any real growth in strength or mass, carries extreme risks - from permanent deformity to loss of limbs.
