Liver King is facing a really big lawsuit from "betrayed" followers

Controversial social media personality and owner of the supplement company Liver King aka Brian Johnson has gained popularity in 2021 and 2022. He began to promote an interesting way of life. This consisted of eating raw meat, training outdoors with minimal equipment, etc. This lifestyle basically mimicked the way of life of prehistoric man. In short, it offered miraculous benefits, freedom from the ills of modern lifestyle, psychological problems by simply following the "ancestral principles" of his primitive lifestyle.
Needless to say, the Liver King successfully sold this gimmick to a large section of uninformed enthusiasts and also managed to increase the sales of his dietary supplement company. According to his own claims, Johnson's "Ancestral Supplements LLC" brand achieved over $100 million in sales in one year. However, those with a keen eye and knowledge always suspected foul play.
The ruse fell apart in one fell swoop when Derek of "More Plates More Dates" published emails proving that Brian Johnson's transformation into the King of Liver was a shockingly well-planned public appearance and that his physique was indeed the result of heavy steroid use. Derek revealed that the Liver King was spending nearly $11,000 a month on steroids to maintain his muscular physique. The revelation sparked a huge backlash from Liver King and turned much of his supporters against him when he admitted to the lies he had been spreading.
Liver King's company faces multi-million dollar lawsuits for "defrauding" people
"When Joe Loney discovered Liver King, the overwhelmed fitness influencer known for eating raw organs, he was hooked on its content. The 35-year-old Brit believed that by exercising and following a primal diet, he could achieve a physique as well-developed as Brian Johnson's. (Influencer's real name.) Since 2021, Loney had been eating steaks daily that were almost raw and only took a break from that meal once every two to three months. Then in December, the Liver King made a YouTube confession: He was taking steroids for roughly $11,000 a month.
"I felt betrayed," Loney says.
The Bloomberg report also said lawsuits are now piling up against several fitness influencers, and not just Liver King.
Derek's 2022 revelation disillusioned one of Liver King's followers, a man named Christopher Altamore from New York. He was the first to file a $25 million lawsuit against Liver King and his brands "Ancestral Supplements LLC" and "The Fittest Ever LLC." Liver King, aka Brian Johnson, claimed that his muscular physique was the result of adhering to a primal lifestyle, especially when it came to diet.
He promised similar benefits if people consumed the dietary supplements he sold under the brand name Ancestral Supplements. This false claim is the basis of the lawsuit filed by Altamore. According to a report in the New York Post, the lawsuit contains the following allegations:
"Liver King convinced millions of consumers to adhere to or follow the Eat Tenet principles by repeatedly telling consumers that his near-perfect physique and optimal health were due solely to his adoption of Ancestral's principles, predominantly the Eat Tenet principles."
